What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?
We are a relatively small church but with a relatively large budget for a church. Desktop helps me as Treasurer keep our vendors paid on time as well as our staff. Easy to read Balance Sheets and Profit Loss Reports. End of year Tax requirements easily tracked. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?

What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?
I've been using QB daily for almost 30 years! It's easy to train people to enter all info and run reports which can easily be exported to Excel.
I haven't used anything else during these 30 years.
The program I used before had lots of colors, but it was very cumbersome necessitating account #'s and journal entries and closing the month (which has benefits) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?
It should not permit anyone to change a reconciled book balance ever!
You can't delete a "check" which showed up in a previous reconciliation.
QB should force you to correct it in a future period - when you recognize the issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

With almost no need for finalcial education.

What do you like best about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?
Ease of use; reporting is accurate and easy to customize or drill down to data needed, and the program is consistent - updates some, but by and large, you know where to find things - very logical program. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have no complaints - this program functions well for how I use it and need the program to do. Additionally, I can export data if needed to excel for further processing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QuickBooks Desktop Pro is a solid choice to help control the financial aspects of your new business. It has a broad user base, and many people have used this software. So, if you are a small growing business, you can easily find staff well-versed to take advantage of QBooks capabilities. Its features also make it easy to converse crucial financial information to your CPA. It has a lot of flexibility: export reports and data into Excel or a PDF. What do you dislike about QuickBooks Desktop Pro?
The one thing I don't like about QuickBooks is that entries can be modified. Most accounting systems have activities permanently posted, meaning anything processed in the software, a record is kept-basically an audit trail. So as your business grows and more people are involved in accounting you'll likely want a software that has this feature to ensure a valid audit trail. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
