What do you like best about Quickbase?

If you have a big number of databases in CRM systems, the QuickBase CRM management solution can be valuable because it helped us manage our CRM data more efficiently and effectively without replacing the CRM system, but rather by merging data from CRMs to make it more relevent. I truly like the flexibility that Quickbase provides. I appreciate how supportive the community is and how easy it is to obtain answers to questions at any time of day. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Being able to build an app and update it on the fly is fantastic, but if you have a recommendation for quickbase as a whole, it must go into the development queue, just like any other software company, which can occasionally result in a delay in efficient functionality, unless you find a workaround. What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase’s flexibility and low-code environment make it easy to build custom apps and workflows without needing a full development team. I especially appreciate how quickly you can set up relational tables, automate tasks, and create reports. The permissions system is also solid, making it easy to control access based on user roles. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

What do you like best about Quickbase?

Our sales data comes from several different sources in several different formats, Quickbase helped us simplify our process saving us several hours of manual data parsing each month, helping us become more in several other aspects of our business with that time saved. Downsides are few and Quickbase is constantly working on improving their platform as needed. What do you like best about Quickbase?

QuickBase has helped our company mature from manual pen-and-paper processes. By expediting many of our locations' processes through QuickBase, we have increased efficiency across the board. Our home office team has also benefited from QuickBase, as we have built various applications to help with functions such as invoicing, auditing, planning, and more. Integrating with QuickBase is seamless and intuitive, and that alone has been key for us in the technological side of things. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The only issue we have experienced with QuickBase is the mobile friendliness of the platform. Our on-site employees rely on mobile devices as they do not spend much time in front of a computer, and they sometimes experience challenges with utilizing QuickBase in a mobile state. What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase has been a great tool for us because it’s flexible and lets me build exactly what we need without having to rely on a big software team. I’m not even part of the software team at my company—I’m a controls engineer—but I’ve been able to create apps that solve real problems for us. I like that I can build something quickly, test it, and refine it based on feedback. It’s also been great for pulling in data from other systems like Sage and making it usable. For example, I’ve set up workflows where we can import massive excel sheets from engineering drawings, and Quickbase processes them in seconds. It’s saved us a ton of time and headaches. The ability to customize and automate processes is why I keep coming back to Quickbase.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The only downside I can think of is also what separates it from other software. It is highly customizable and once you get comfortable with the software you can build some beautiful apps and workflows....but that takes time. What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase gives us the flexibility to manage our processes in a way that fits how we work. I like that it’s not rigid. It lets us build workflows that match our needs, even when those needs are complex. For example, we deal with a lot of clients, claims and invoices, and Quickbase allows us to create pipelines and automate parts of that process. It wasn't easy for us to pull off but was no match for a Quickbase implementation consultant. The best part is that we worked on it together so we are always learning. I also appreciate that we can customize fields and forms to make things easier for our team. The ability to tweak things as we go is a big plus. It’s not like we’re locked into one way of doing things. And when we need help, the support team is there to work through the details with us. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Before Quickbase, a lot of our work was manual and repetitive. For example, when we create invoices, we have to link them back to claims, update fields, and make sure everything ties together. It’s tedious, especially when you’re dealing with hundreds of claims for a single client. Quickbase has helped us start automating parts of that process. Now, instead of manually updating every claim, we’re building pipelines that can handle some of that work for us—like populating fields or linking claims to invoices.

One of the biggest benefits is that Quickbase lets us handle exceptions. Not every client, invoice or billing style is the same, and Quickbase gives us the flexibility to manage those one-off cases without breaking the system. For example, some invoices cover multiple claims, while others are just one-offs. We can still handle those manually when needed, but Quickbase helps streamline the bulk of the work. It’s also great for tracking as everything is in one place, so we can see what’s been billed, what’s outstanding, and what’s been paid. That visibility is huge for us. What do you like best about Quickbase?

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

In a 5-6 hour shift I’ll have to sign in several times.

Often it loses the information on the first few pages and I’ve got to reenter it.

Takes forever sometimes to load photos.

Since new update it won’t let me do screenshots to send in for my visits. I’ve got to use 2 phones.

Sometimes the camera switches over by itself to the front selfie screen and I’ve got to correct it for every photo.

It does not always record signing in and out times correctly.

The directions to your next stop are sometimes unreliable and I use Google maps on my personal phone.

What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase does exactly what we need it to do. We use it to keep track of all our bookings, hotels, clients, proposals—everything. What I really like is how customizable it is. We built out most of our platform about five years ago, and as time has gone on, we’ve been able to make tweaks and additions when needed. I took the Quickbase University course years ago, so when we need updates or reports, it’s easy to handle. We also work with a developer occasionally for things like pipelines or automatic emails, but for the most part, it’s straightforward to manage. What do you dislike about Quickbase?

Quickbase makes it easy to customize reports and dashboards. However, not every employee has the skills or access to do this on their own. As such, I get many requests from my staff for new reports and customizations that will increase the efficiency of their workflows--but I often end up building those out. What do you like best about Quickbase?

Quickbase is incredibly useful for our business case since it allows non-technical users to function as developers very quickly. We have numerous users who need the ability to spin up small project applications, and are able to do so quickly and with minimal technical training. This allows us to integrate our many complex systems and existing solutions really seamlessly, without contracting externally or hiring dedicated developers. We've also had great interactions with our service reps and the Quickbase team as whole, they've been responsive and helped us find solutions to problems we couldn't solve ourselves. Quickbase hasn't been in our process that long yet (2-3 years), but has quickly become a daily driver for our team. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The largest hurdle that we experience regularly with Quickbase is the lack of official development resources. The Quickbase development community (the Qrew) is really helpful in this area, but there's often not a specific resource that can be found about the types of issues we're trying to solve. This has previously led to our team thinking that they were trying to do something impossible within the platform or that a certain feature did not exist even though Quickbase was capable of solving the issues they wanted it to. What do you like best about Quickbase?

The ability to customize information and capabilities throughout the business, and tailored to a widely dispersed employment base. Always accurate and dependable.

What do you dislike about Quickbase?

The helpdesk. More often than not, when a case is submitted, it takes a long time for the support after the first interaction. I recently had a scenario where I published an updated app from the sandbox, but I could not find any documentation on migrating the sandbox pipeline to the production app. The person had to go research it themselves. A day or more when by and I finally figured it out on my own and let the tech know.

I simply felt that the pipeline helpdesk crew should have known the process or point me in the correct direction - they did not. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
