As a US employee whose employer switched to Omnipresent I had a horrible experience. They signed me up for a service without my permission or knowledge, and it's been difficult to sort out. Their customer service doesn't have accurate information and if your employer uses Omni, I highly recommend you double and triple check everything! Their service is disorganized at best. I can't really remember which part of my onboarding Omnipresent was in, so overall it was unmemorable. If it was at the very beginning I think that was pretty quick and painless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As someone in a company that uses literally, I think around 20 programs for everything work related, half of those being work wikis, onboarding, learning and development, HR... It gets pretty overwhelming. So this comment isn't a critique of Omnipresent but having another login and website I have to engage with gets pretty draining when it's another thing to do in the daily list of tasks and places I have to open a tab for. I was hired by a company in the US. Omnipresent ensured that my company was compliant with Canadian employment laws and handled my employment contract and onboarding me onto Canadian payroll and benefits. I was given a go-to representative to answer all my questions and assist me with the process and ensure that I provided all of the documentation needed to get me successfully set up for benefits and payroll. Ken, was very helpful all along the way and responded quickly. Additionally, their web portal is very intuitive, I am able to view and update documents and my employment details, submit expenses, and submit my approved time off easily. The on boarding process with these folks was seamless and very easy to do. The few places where I got stuck, we’re not a fault of the system, and they quickly and comprehensively explained what I needed to do to keep going.
The staff I worked with via email were courteous, explain things well, and always got back to me in a reasonable amount of time.
As a way to get working for a company in another nation this was actually quite a pleasant experience. Quick note I have since started working for my new employer, and have already submitted several expenses. That process was also easy and seamless.
