What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

It has many useful tools like SQL server profiler and SQL server management studio. It is easy, fast and user-friendly. I also like about recovery solutions of the ms SQL server. It's very reliable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

The answer must be about operating system support. It has only supporting windows OS as I know. MS SQL can't be an option if I use Linux or Ubuntu. One more lousy side of ms SQL is that it's not an open source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Quick backing up and restoring of databases. Particularly useful when testing.

Easy installation process and setting up new databases.

Managing user roles and security could be clearer it is confusing at first.

What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft Sql server is very easy to use and very easy to manage. Its one of best Relational database I have used. It provides lot of facilities like store procedure, function, Tigger, view etc. And best part I used is service broker. By this we are able to do lots of task asynchronous. What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Clean and easy to use UI. Helpful in suggestions when writing a query in terms of keywords, table names etc. In case of errors, showing on which point the error occurred. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Not able to use the same query file while having multiple queries in it. It executes all the listed queries at once. Unlike Oracle DB, it doesn't stop the query which line the cursor is pointing and semi colon is. May be I'm not yet aware of the feature to handle it Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Here we can analyze which table needs to migrate and what transformation required. Integrate external Database with Integration builder and integration Studio. While connecting to the External database SQL Server, an external database created in integration supports only one database. if we require various tables or collections from different databases must create several integrations..

What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The most important is that Microsoft SQL has the power to manage multiple databases at the same time, no matter the size of the data, it can handle all the transactions without having a reduction in its performance.

Also, it has a very friendly management interface for the database admins, they work every day with it and they feel comfortable.

Besides this tool is ready for the scalation that the company could need in the future, you don't have to think about making big changes to support the rise of users or data.
