What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

The License of the Microsoft SQL server is too expensive for the client and for that we switch MS SQL to Postgres SQL and MongoDB. And one more thing is that the backup made of a newer version of ms SQL is not compatible with the older version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Simply and easy-to-operate query response tool to seamlessly connect applications. Integration with SDK such as Eclipse and Visual Studio is very easy. it helps to maintain relational database management with a SQL server in a robust and flexible way. Connectivity with SSIS packages and monitoring them is very easy. Microsoft SQL Server's unique views and stored procedures is super helpful to automate management tracking and improve customer interaction. Overall a powerful and easy to deploy software. What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

It is quite high on the cost front and takes a little extra effort to do bug tracking. The customizations and Interface could have been simplified so that training new users becomes easy. Import export procedures are bit tricky with new emerging technologies coming up every day. It's incompatible with Apple devices since some users have a mac OS but not windows/linux. Very easy to understand and implement SQL. DB design and data importing are super handy and easy to execute. I can integrate with SSIS packages and monitor them inside the SQL server itself. What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Unless I use rollback I can't undo the executed operation which I dislike about SQL server. While loading txt files it cannot detect delimiter and it can't detect datatypes if we are using CSV or txt file also sometimes the app crashes abruptly or it can't take correct inputs from the mouse and keyboard.
