"Best Query Processing and Data Management Software"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL has an easy-to-use user interface. It can handle large data sets with great ease and can process queries very fast. The Query creation process is also straightforward, and the software yields accurate and fast results. It integrates easily with your front-end to capture data points, and the changes get reflected in the software instantly. You can fetch data from the data management software and generate views according to your requirements. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Query Language needs to be studied before using it, i.e., people who don't have a Computer Science background might take time to get used to it. Error tracking, I feel, is challenging than the other options available. You also have to pay a fee for using Microsoft SQL, and you have good enough applications (My SQL) that are free of cost. "SSMS (SQL Server Management Studio)"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

It is a query language tool to return multiple sets of records in the database. It is based on SQL (Structured query language). It can manage database and tables in a very effective manner.

We run different sets of queries in SQL Server Management Studio in our organization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

The tool has multiple option and makes its layout a bit complex. But though the tool has everything which is required to manipulate the data and tables.

Our database records are private and protected as well.

In SQL server we do not get any UI like DBeaver to manipulate the data via a UI. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Microsoft SQL is a powerful database tool"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

It is powerful, fun and flexible. If you are a database administrator, you probably already know this, but Microsoft SQL is an outstanding product.

SQL Server Management Studio is easy to use, but you are not limited to just that tool for building queries and databases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Licensing models. They are complicated and annoying. Sometimes you need a single, simple feature, but you have to upgrade to Enterprise to get it - and the cost uptick is generally out of the question unless it is required to upgrade. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Great experience but can be more easy."
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

The feature of SSMS is where it shows how to optimize your query <3 SQL Server makes it easy to use the index and it does not need pointers for every little point. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

The dependency is much greater than it should be. This means when you want to update or upgrade you have to delete almost 4 5 dependent apps from the system which can be reduced. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Recommendation to use Microsoft SQL"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

SQL is an excellent software for creating, editing, maintaining the database related to our project. It is a great help for developers to use it for databases. The best thing about SQL, which I like more than anything else, is that it also offers a comprehensive database diagram to understand the relations between the tables. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Editing a table is time-consuming, but after some experience, this will not matter. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy to use Query Processing and DBMS software"
What do you like best about Microsoft SQL Server?

MS SQL has a user-friendly interface. The software is so easy to use that you can learn it quickly. Microsoft SQL is a high-performance system that helps manage databases. You can manage your data repository and use the easy-to-learn query processing language to parse through data. It also helps create views and manage data and carry out operations more efficiently than Excel. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Microsoft SQL Server?

Microsoft SQL entails a high license fee. If the cost is brought down - it is excellent software that takes less time to load and works efficiently for small businesses. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
