"Powerfull platform"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

It is a really powerfull platform to monitor environments. We really like the easiness we can build and tweak device support as well the possibilities to proactively spot issues for our customers Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

We are an MSP and use the platform as a multi-tenant platform. The platform seems not to be build as a real multi-tenant environment. You have to be really carefull to be sure you don't show data to other customers then where the data is coming from. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"No fuss infrastructure monitoring"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

LogicMonitor provides a wide range of monitoring features that allows us to keep tabs on various aspects of our IT infrastructure. LogicMonitor scales well with our growing infrastrucure. As our company expands and out IT environment becomes more complex, the platform continues to provide value, reliable performance and effective monitoring without major adjustments. LogicMonitor also has a massive Product Documentation available online. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

As with other monitoring platform, there is a learning curve that admins had to go through. The current switching between UI is also disorienting. APM can be improved. When we trialled, there were no dynamic out of the box dashboards with the ability to drill down as needed and pricing is span-based which is not really a fit for the App that we are trying to monitor which generates millions of spans per month. "Modern Cloud-based Infrastructure Monitoring platform"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

When reviewing a number of competitor platforms, LogicMonitor stood out for a few key reasons:

- Dashboarding and reporting capability

- Cloud based monitoring capability via API

- Advanced Alerting capability and customisations

- Ticked all of our requirements from a security and compliance perspective

- From pre-sales to implementation and now on-going relationship management, the people behind the product have reinforced that our decision to go with LogicMonitor was the right one Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

Price - It's not the cheapest platform out there but we still see value in the product.

Reporting - For advanced reporting requirements, there is some custom work required to join datasets etc. but thats probably more a comment in relation to our bespoke requirements Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Logical LogicMonitor"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

Easy to configure. Comprehensive suite of DataSources (checks). Good return on investement with out-of-box configuration options providing powerful insights that immediately lower MTTR. Great product support, be it through well maintained documentation or customer support. Extensible and easy to integrate into systems such as ITSM or messaging tools for alert notifications. Easy to implement with bootstrap based collector deployment. A product I find myself using more and more as part of my day to day as it's features and the depth of information it extends becomes more prevalent and critical to BAU operation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

It is unfortunate that datapoints are unable to return text values. Whilst text can be parsed to represent an outcome it's abstraction to an integer obfuscates information. There are some configuration elements of the system that do not lend themselves to scalability. Dashboards and graphical representation of data isn't quite as configurable as with other products within the same space. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Use it every day"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

Provided you have a reasonable understanding of your architecture the LogicMonitor suite provides a great overview of the landscape, and highlights the areas requiring attention with sufficient detail to indicatre where to start working to resolve any issues. We use it several times a day so it is a part of our workflow, though mostly used at the start of the day. We make extensive use of a custom dashboard we have specific to our requirements and is a fantastic jumping-off point for issue determination and resolution. It has saved a fair amount of time as well, and helped identify patterns both intra-daily as well as over longer periods. No complaints, thouhg realise there's a lot left to work through Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

There is a lot of detail, can be overwhelming if you are not well-vesed in yourt enviornment. This is actually a good thing though, as you can get up to speed quickly with what you have, and it is clear the areas that require attention, which is hte whole point. "Perfect for fullstack Voice Engineering"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

In my opinion Flexibility is the best feature about LogicMonitor.

The platform's ootb multi-vendor Data/Property/Config/etc sources allows great integration for the collection of metrics we care to have and the way we want the whole Voice environment interact with LogicMonitor. If there is nothing available, LogicMonitor has a lot of options to explore and be able get the needed results.

Not only on a system perspective, but also on a Human perspective, I think Logicmonitor provides excelent professionals and the help we need to keep evolving and bring value on the usage of LM. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

Current hybrid stage on the UI creates challenges on finding the desired fileds to configure, and maybe that is the only thing that I "dislike" about LogicMonitor.

For the rest, considering your experience with other clients, I would like to see more initiative from LM side to "teach us" the HOW and best practices/solutions were put in place on similar fullstack environments like ours. Topics like Observability and OTel would be great to learn more from your side about this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Booking.com - Quick and easy to use"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

I have the below comments about the things I like about LogicMonitor:

Ease of Use: Platform is easy to use and navigate.

Ease of Implementation: Quick and easy to get this setup, main delays are setting up the connectivity permissions on network devices.

Customer Support: Live chat function is really useful (when it works).

Numbers of Features: Platform is feature rich with support for most depoloyments.

Ease of Integration: A lot of good intergrations out of the box such as: Slack, ServiceNow, PagerDuty. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

I have the below comments about the things I dislike:

Integrations: We are currently lacking integration with Aruba Central for our SD-BRANCH and also Aruba UXI which is used for user experience testing. (Aruba UXI uses webhooks which LM does not support).

Ease of Use: I find the new UI difficult to use sometimes with a lot of things hidden away in menus, also have difficult with moving multiple device groups collectors to a new group. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"A Great Partner for Observability Success"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

Our LogicMonitor account team (Partner Manager, Customer Success Manager) are highly engaged in supporting us to realise complete value from the platform, ensuring our issues are quickly resolved, and helping us plan ahead to enable new benefits to our customers as new featers are released.

The platform itself has improved greatly over time in terms of form and function, there are very few usecases for observability our organisation has that it cannot cover, and there are many more value features (like AI driven anomolgy detection and synthetic transactions) that we're planning to exploit in the future, with more on the way.

The new services view of resources is an especially compelling feature for maintain a holistic view of services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

Some areas of improvement are required in error reporting, or making issues more visible when collectors are not reporting home. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Such a dream to use"
What do you like best about LogicMonitor?

Best thing about LogicMonitor is how customizable they make it, with the high number of built-in LogicModules it makes creating high signal, low noise alerts easy. Dashboards allow ease of use when it comes to monitoring and keeping an overall eye on the status of your network & each location supported. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about LogicMonitor?

My main gripe right now is that there is functionality missing between the "old UI" and the "new UI" otherwise the tool is absolute dream to use once setup & configured probably (Which is also a breeze) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
