Lob provides the flexibility and control we need to successfully manage our direct mail campaigns with ease! We were able to connect their system with our CRM and database to make mail send incredibly easy and quick for us to implement. Within a month of setting up our system, we were flying and ready to send multiple mail pieces to people through an entire 4 month campaign. We have built out the system to send mail daily and have it almost completely automated at this point. The reporting of the delivery of the mail send has become a bit confusing as we send more mail pieces. However, this may not be in Lob's control but more on a reporting issue with the USPS system. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lob is a very powerful software with excellent documentation and resources to help you achieve your customized direct mail goals no matter how large or small your operation is. From a software side, the documentation and api is top notch and we have had no issues ordering significants amount of mail. It was easy to use and I was able to quickly develop a solution for our team with Lob. Within a matter of two weeks we had a fully functioning mail system with customized pieces, ready to deliver over 1M pieces a year!
The customer support team at Lob has also been fantastic! They have assisted us with software questions as well as best practices for direct mail. They are also extremely communicative and always looking to help us be as cost efficient and effective as possible with our direct mail strategies.

One thing that has been slightly confusing for us has been the reporting dashboard, and some of the different codes from the web hooks seeming to be a bit random. I don't know all the inner workings of where these webhooks and statuses come from, my guess is that Lob is just processing them and not generating them, but they seem to be inconsistent. Lob makes it easy breezy to find notices that were sent out to our customers. I love being able to pull them up to get an exact idea of what's going on. It makes my job run smoothly. We found many bugs in LOB java SDK. We opened several support tickets. It seems like LOB doesn't have any testing for their product.
In Jan 2023, they released 5 versions, including 3 versions within 3 days. It seems the java SDK is not very stable.
Lately, I found a simple bug. I contact the supprot and got this reply:
"I appreciate your patience with my reply while I looked into this error for you with my engineering team. They have confirmed this is a bug within the Java SDK and have captured it to review for their product roadmap. However, I unfortunately do not have a timeline yet for when they will be able to release a fix for it. "
This is a very simple bug to fix. (support ticket 166857).
