I like it's interface. It's code completion suggestion is very helpful. It started involving machine learning challages in it's recent contests which is really nice to keep up with recent tech trends. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's code editor don't give the user experience which hackerrank kind of platform offers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I am regular participate in Hackerearth coding competition and I also organized coding event on Hackerearth as well as other coding platforms. But feature provides by Hackerearth dashboard are really good and it helps coder to solve problems easily. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I try to find at least one reason to dislike this platform but I have not found any reason to disklike Hackerearth Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of hackerearth is that you get access to all types of quality problems to sharpen your skills and that too without any cost. The hackathons are another great thing where you get to participate in a real world competition and be able to win prizes. They have brought the ease to participate at our fingertips. The competitive contests are the best to sharpen skills. They also have guides on how to start at competitive programming. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
So far I didn't find anything to dislike. However there should be more questions about other domains such as SQL, machine learning. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It takes no time for first-time users to understand the interface. It's modern and simple. The technical assistance from HackerEarth team is helpful and quick. It provides many features like- plagiarism reports, screen recording, question-wise analysis, which simply makes the job of shortlisting/selecting candidates easy. Also, they advertise the contests very well which is an added benefit. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing to be disliked by me. Some technical things which they can upgrade are-
1. At the time of high traffic, provide an alternate lite webpage for slow connections.
2. People shouldn't be able to login into there account with multiple devices simultaneously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It gives provision to learn and code, and provides different difficulty level of problems to improve the skills stage by stage. It's not only a platform to code also a platform to learn. And personally, I enjoy codeArena. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Testcases!, yes sometimes used to solve the problem and out of 10, 9 gets passed and 1 fails and that would not be a logic mistake instead some other unhandled condition. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I come from a non coding background. I did not know about coding. So I learned a lot of things through HackerEarth.
1. Beginner level to Expert level.
2. Learning data structure and algorithms.
3. Best things -> Challenges (Circuits, Let the Fight begin, Hackathon and Easy).
4. You can also give company's coding challenge.
5. we can solve programming questions topic-wise.
6. I got selected in a company through HackerEarth's Challenge.
7. It points out the sytax error.
8.You can run custom test cases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though there isn't anything that I dislike. If HackerEarth sends the solutions of Hackathon challenges, once the competition is over. More short challenges can be introduced for better understanding(like Codechef). Moreover job openings requirements contains too much of experience with technology stack for the user which is applying for the job. When I started coding on hackerearth, the problems were not well categorized, but with time it has improved a lot and now the way the practice problems have been divided into suitable sections, it is very helpful and organized. Also the monthly contests are very good. With so many good coders competing with you is a boon . The problems are well set and cover all the domains which are required to be in a long contest.I also love the monthly easy challenge as they are hard to solve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Some problems don't have good editorials. Please ask the authors to post solutions which don't make use of macros. Sometimes it becomes very confusing to read through the code.
The problem of wrong categorization still persists with some problems. Some problems which are marked easy are very difficult to solve at times. The easy tag gives a wrong notion to beginners and sometimes they may lose confidence. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
HackerEarth, as the name suggests, there's gotta something interesting for the developers and geeks, and guess what yes, it turns out to be the best and one of the ultimate stop for the Intermediate and Experienced Developers, yet the Beginners aren't that far.
From Coding Tutorials to Recruitments, backed by a lot of super Hackathons, Competitive Programming Materials, all in a well organized and disciplined order it is the complete 10/10 package Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For this part, there's nothing special or to be urgently noted, it has got everything covered and has an edge over everything that makes it a really vital and supportive platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best thing that struck me was their competition called "CodeArena" where we get to interact live with the coders via chat and have live coding battles with them. They also have ongoing Recruitment challenges as well as monthly coding challenges. This gives us a platform where we not only have a great opportunity to apply for jobs, but also can practice coding.Their monthly challenges have rating system and this helps us to strive for the best. In CodeArena the opponents are chosen at random. But it would be great if a feature is included to fight against a friend of mine that I have chosen to fight against and hence I can send him/her a fight request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like mostly it's backend which can hold pressure of many people accessing it at same time and no. Of competition that it suggests Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I mostly dislike it's ui/ux which I think should be improved Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
