HackerEarth is the best online platform which provides a variety of fields to study in, from basic coding to python to Data Structures to Machine Learning also. The best thing is that it covers each field with variety of questions and even tutorials. I can guarantee one thing about HackerEarth that it will make you master in your field if you give your full potential. Moreover, the another best thing is that it is not just limited to practice and solving questions, it provides us with many competitions which can easily fetch you a job. As per my opinion, I don't find any negative point on HackerEarth. That's why I used the word "Best" for it.
But one thing that I would like to mention that it should increase the quality and try to cover all topics of a field rather than just the topics which are important. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using hackerearth for around 3 years, and I can see the improvement in my logical thinking and speed in solving problems, The Monthly contests are one of the best things about hackerearth. Anyone new to coding can start with the practice section covering a variety of problems in each and every domain of competitive programming. CodeMonk is also a great thing by hackerearth for the coders. And there are many many things I can't cover in this review.
At last, I am thankful for hackerearth for creating a great programmer in me. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing, It is the best competitive coding platform available
Hackerearth can work with increasing the speed of overall page loading experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
This platform has great opportunities for engineer like myself. My favourite part is definitely the hackathons. It has some amazing projects to work on from really renown companies. It has definitely helped me boost my confidence in Python. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is nothing that Dislike about hacker earth as of now. I am a fairly new user. I wish there was an age barrier or work experience barrier for certain hackathons. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like & find best, is that Hackererth provides the understanding of Concepts, with elaborated practice questions & provides you a platform, to implement all of that, through Competitions & also lets us know, where we stand, how much we have covered & how much is left. What I dislike is, that if someone wants to access an Expired Challenge or to submit an answer for that, then they are unable to do that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Of course, the best thing is learning but if we talk about something specific it is the code arena and if you have skills you can apply for jobs right there in the best companies. Plus you compete with people around the world and this gives you a chance to understand where you stand. I did apply to many hackathons using hacker earth. Almost every hackathon is listed on hackerearth' s website, plus you can apply very easily, it also provides you with the selection process. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Though there isn't anything that I dislike, sometimes just the leaderboard issues are there. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many contests, both for competitive programmers as well as developers always going on, which help you grow as a programmer. Hackathons are also conducted frequently, and one can learn teamwork by participating in them. Also, the UI is very user friendly and easy to understand. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
For most of the programming questions, proper editorial is not present. Mostly, there is only solution code from the problem setter which isn't at all helpful, since if you just need the solution code, you can simply look at successful submissions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I started my competitive coding from HackerEarth and since then it became everything for me.The best thing that i like of HackerEarth is its practice problem as it enables us to practice and learn at the same time. One more which i like about HackerEarth is its various numbers of competitions especially the monthly circuits. I think HackerEarth should make its code editor a bit more user interactive like with much more various designs as for a coder it matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that HackerEarth has a built-in IDE on the same page as each contest question. I also like that you not only have access to the testcases after the end of each contest, but you can also create your own testcases during the competition, and HackerEarth provides the answers to those made-up testcases. I don't like that for every question, I have to re-select my language every time. Other contest sites automatically set the language on the IDE for the last language selected so that you need to select a language only on the first problem and whenever you switch languages. HackerEarth always has the default language as C, which is fine if you often code in C, but is inconvenient for everyone else. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are many categories for practicing coding problems like Data Structures, Algorithms, Machine Learning. The problems go from being beginner friendly to advanced level. That is why it is very helpful for anyone to start programming with HackerEarth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There used to be competitive coding challenges every month till the previous year but now its only hackathons and hiring challenges. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
