It's cheating-detecting system is not as smart - sometimes candidates are not cheating but they still get marked for cheating or plagiarizing. In this case, we need to review each candidate that had been marked with questions carefully. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I needed to build an initial engineering team from scratch and leveraged Coderbyte for coding assessments and system design interviews on a shared whiteboard (with Miro). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Coderbyte seemed a bit pricey for us, but I recently switch to Pay-per-customer which works well for our current usage levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recording the candidates is a huge asset because rather than just having a score, I can understand how they got it (spartan fumble, misread, cheating, etc.). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Dislike is a strong word, but they could extend the platform with coding challenges that are probably not as easy to search on Google for the answers. In most cases, the challenges were easy to find solutions for, especially in commonly used programming languages like Python & Javascript with a few keywords, especially with the titles of the challenge. I had to limit the challenges only to Golang to get around this problem, and worked for us as we were looking to hire Golang developers. But, we also need Python developers and are not sure if it will work as seamlessly for that. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Coderbyte made our hiring process easier by allowing us to conduct assessments in various languages. We felt the questions they provided had a good variation from easy to hard ones, mking it possible to assess employees for different levels. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
If our subscription runs out, we are restricted from accessing assessments already submitted. We tend to pause our subscription after the hiring is done, but would appreciate if we could review assessments already done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
