What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

Using ServiceNow Automation Engine and have been thoroughly impressed with its capabilities. It has helped me automate various IT and business processes, freeing up time for higher-value work and ensuring consistency. I love the extensive integration capabilities with low-code development environment and real-time analytics making it easy to create and monitor automation workflows, even for non-technical users. What do you dislike about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

While I have found ServiceNow Automation Engine to be an excellent tool for streamlining and automating processes, there are a few things that I think could be improved. The cost of the platform can be quite high, and the setup and configuration process can be complex and time-consuming. Additionally the load time is something that has to considered. It can feel a bit complex to set up , especially when connecting to multiple data sources or dealing with permissions. It can also take some time to get used to all the options and settings. Before using ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric, one of our biggest headaches was dealing with siloed data. Different departments had their own systems—IT, HR, customer service—and getting a full picture of what was going on meant jumping between dashboards, exporting data manually, or chasing down updates via email. It was time-consuming and error-prone.

Workflow Data Fabric changed that by connecting all those data sources behind the scenes. Now, data flows across workflows automatically, which means I don’t have to manually piece things together. For example, when a new employee is onboarded, everything from provisioning IT access to setting up payroll and compliance tasks happens seamlessly, because all the necessary data is visible and shared in real time across systems. Earlier pulling data from different sources used to be messy and slow, especially when teams were using different tools. But with Workflow Data Fabric now everything is more connected liek for example the data from different departments or platforms can be brought into one place and used in workflows without needing heavy custom integrations. What do you like best about ServiceNow Workflow Data Fabric?

There are variety of sources like structured, unstructured, and streaming, without requiring data duplication or migration. The zero copy architecture means data stays in its original system, but can be accessed and used in real time across workflows, which greatly reduces integration complexity and storage costs for AI or data applications. It is quiet easy to implement data pipeline in real time. We can easily use it multiple time for multiple tasks. The support team is also very easy to go.
