Kinderpedia has given me the advantage of bringing transparency into my educational work with students – something I’ve wanted from the very beginning of this journey.

Although the center I run doesn't follow a traditional afterschool or beforeschool format, their modules have proven flexible and adaptable to our specific needs.

At the core of our center is the strong connection between teachers, parents, and students – and this is exactly what Kinderpedia supports. There isn’t much to dislike, especially considering the value of the free version. That said, the Jobs feature is still in beta but I'd love the ability to edit job posts after creation. I’d also love to see features like automated rejection emails included in the free version but at the same time - I do understand the business needs to make income as well (#startuplife). We're a scrappy start up that really looks to bring in people with a start up mentality with a heavy lean towards data driven decision making. The OCEAN 5 and problem solving tests are currently our go to to gauge off the bat if the candidate should move forward. I think that, as with many things, it can be very frustrating for teachers to see some of the tiered components cost extra. While it's completely understandable that the company needs to make money to continue to improve, as educators, it's generally outside the teacher's control for what funds are spent and where based on school/district budgets, which then can either lead them to personally paying fees for subscriptions, or in some cases, being restricted from using them where they are not allowed to pay for items personally (as in my previous district). One challenge we’ve faced is the limited integration with some specialized third-party systems commonly used in higher education, such as advanced learning management systems (LMS) or research administration tools. Expanding compatibility or offering more seamless API connections would greatly enhance its utility.

Before adopting OpenEduCat, our university struggled with siloed systems for admissions, attendance, grading, and communications, which often led to inefficiencies and data inconsistencies. The backend admin management isn't the best in the world. PI has made a lot of improvements lately but there's more that can be done. The main challenge lies in the initial learning curve. With so many features available, it takes time and practice for new users to become fluent in the system. Teachers need to explore and internalize the toolset to unlock its full potential. That said, once you get used to the platform, it greatly enhances classroom efficiency and student engagement. My classroom is quite diverse in terms of English proficiency. I have students who are actively discouraged, others who are passive, and a few who are high achievers. My goal is to capture their attention and make every student feel genuinely engaged—rather than just being a guest in the classroom.

HiTeach helps me achieve this by offering a cloud-based performance tracking system. I can easily add or deduct points based on classroom participation and behavior, and the data is accessible across different classrooms—making classroom management more consistent and visible.

To improve their speaking skills and ensure everyone actually speaks the target material, I also use the voice recognition feature. This helps prevent free-riding, while encouraging advanced students to aim for higher-quality output.

They have recently been adding premium options, when signing on with them, it was not communicated to me that there would be added costs for new features. While I understand that it may be fair in some cases to charge extra, this was not part of the original agreement. For the price I am paying, and being an existing customer that is still awaiting features to be configured to work in our setting, I don't agree that we should pay extra for these "premium" features. Some of these are also not entirely new modules but add on features. We have yet to get our Reports to work in the Illumine App configurations as it is not fully customizable. Communication has been streamlined and improved. We are able to very easily send out information, photos, videos, documents etc. We are able to communicate on one platform whereas before we had to use multiple channels to communicate. We are able to house all our student information within the student profiles. Record keeping and admin functions have also been positively impacted with the use of Illumine. I don't like that you have to pay to see read receipts. Sometimes it's helpful to know when a teacher or parent has read something to make sure they didn't miss a message. I also don't like how sometimes it doesn't notify me of a new message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not have any dislikes, because they are continually updating and improving their platform to support the needs of schools and students. If I were to have a wish, it would be that if the data would integrate into our SIS or other dashboards that would allow us to provide even more information from the whole child. Helping support our tier 1 need for a pass system for our students to use during class periods. We have been able to move away from agendas and paper passes, to a digital pass system that gives our tier 1 team and administrators real time data of student movement through the building. While HiBob is generally intuitive, there are a few areas where it could improve. Some of the reporting features can feel a bit limited unless you're well-versed with custom reports, and at times it takes a few extra steps to get the exact data view you need. The mobile app also lacks some of the functionality of the desktop version, which can be inconvenient for managers or employees on the go. Additionally, while integrations are available, setting them up can require more technical support than expected. HiBob has helped us centralize all our HR processes into one platform, solving the inefficiencies of managing data across multiple tools and spreadsheets. It’s significantly improved our onboarding experience by automating workflows, ensuring every new hire has a consistent and engaging first few weeks. I wouldn't call this a downside. I have already shared the feedback to the Xobin team about the need to be able to download the reports in a more professional format to share with multiple stakeholders.

Currently, the platform allows downloading the reports as a csv file, and one can print the individual repoorts. I would however, prefer to see the charts displayed for comparison of multiple assessment takers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a lean team that caters to the learning needs of an organization with employees across the world. Before Xobin we had an internal platform where we had to prepare the questions for the assessments. However, technology assessments are much easier with Xobin's vast question bank. It's helping me communicate better with my team!

I would love to be able to use it to get more customer meetings but the credits don't go far enough with what it takes to learn how to use it.

The mobile experience specifically for job posting is lacking. Some of the drop down elements don't appear in mobile view.

The add candidate to database selection via web shouldn't have qualification as a mandatory field. Not all qualifications are standardized so it limits searching.

You can only post by local currency which can be an issue if you're looking to recruit freelancers from other countries as you can't attract them via their local currency. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Any employer who's carried out ongoing recruitment in the past soon learns that it's a full time role itself. Ducknowl has helped me streamline my efforts and reduce time wasted in disqualifying candidates, shortlisting and testing candidates, and the job posting and candidate management aspect. My team members can use and access the central dashboard, so we can be on the same page without going through Gsheets and word docs. One of the best features of this platform is that it allows you to post out to multiple job boards from a central dashboard. This is a massive time saver. There are discounted credits available for job boards which makes it pay for itself straight away. Furthermore, this is a platform with numerous automation features (we are still learning about these), which help to streamline recruitment and candidate selection processes. Of course, students being students, have found some ways to circumvent Dyknow. Ultimately though, I've decided if they are that dedicated to ignoring me, I'll just leave them to it. Using Dyknow to direct (and redirect) students has oddly increased their motivation. When students know that I have the ability to see what tabs they actively have open during class, they tend to stick with the class content better. The only feedback that we have had from clients is that some of the questions are very American. This can put candidates off. This means that we have to be very clear about the language used in some of the questions. This hasn't been a huge barrier to our clients using the tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The candidate assessment supports those clients who don't have a robust recruitment process. They often keep making the same recruitment mistakes, which make it an expensive exercise. They are usually spending a great deal of time sifting cvs and then interviewing candidates.

By using the Sales Candidate Assessment, clients are only being presented with candidates who are fit for purpose. This vastly reduces the time, effort and investment in recruiting either a salesperson or a sales manager. It also allows for the interviews to be much more structured.
