What do you like best about Vev?

What do you dislike about Vev?

What do you like best about Vev?

I like how it is easy and fun to explore around. The fact that it is free to use is fantastic and also perfect for building a portfolio. I haven´t tried any competitors. However, I will most likely stick to Vev. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What is annoying about Vev is that the preview effect isn´t the same as it displays on the website. I have to rely on publishing the project to see if it looks good, so I hope Vev will fix this. Also, I´m not sure if it actually is possible, but I do miss sounds playing automatically rather than you having to click on the sound button. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The responsive design breakpoints are ready to use, so you don’t have to change anything to have a responsive site.

And if you made some changes to your web design on production, you can see the results so fast on the release version. Also, when you visit the roadmap page, is interesting to see what they’re working on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vev?

I want more customization to grid items, such as changing the item point cursor color, or sometimes the hover animations are slow (but it depends on the device).

But I don’t want to lie; it has impressed me that Vev is SEO-friendly, not only with the text, even the images are indexable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I like the amount of possibilities with vev. There's always a solution to what I want to communicate, which means that the information our clients want to give off to our readers can always be presented in the best possible way. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vev?

Vev has done a lot of updates on features and layout - which all work fine once you learn what they mean. That process can sometimes be a little difficult - especially if you're in the middle of a project when the updates take effect. Only what i miss in VEV is a way to build forms, you still need a 3rd party for that. I hope they can include that in the next updates. For the rest i don't notice any dislikes, it just work great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Vev is an intuitive and versatile tool that allows a non-programmer to design and publish a website from scratch with interactive capabilities. Setting up animated features like scrollytelling videos and parallax effect that make the webpage dynamic is quick and easy. The keyboard shortcuts are very useful and make the design flow smooth. What do you dislike about Vev?

The components section is glitchy at times, even after updating the master component the changes don't always reflect on all the instances. I'd love to see some simple features like rulers similar to the adobe products.
