What do you like best about Vev?

I have been using Vev for a little over a year for publishing and it's a convenient way to design and animate web pages without having extensive html coding knowledge. Support staff is helpful when needed, reachable via in-app messenger. Tutorial and training videos have also been helpful, and I look forward to that available library expanding with time. What do you dislike about Vev?

Sometimes difficult to troubleshoot problems that appear differently in desktop, mobile and tablet views. As I learn more on building pages and templates, my ability to diagnose errors will hopefully improve. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vev solving and how is that benefiting you?

Vev has been a creative platform my department embraced for publishing monthly issues, a significant jump from traditional print magazines. The pandemic created unexpected financial limitations, and Vev was an opportunity to transition multiple brands from print to digital. Offering animated elements creates a special look for readers, and keeps them engaged with the visual content. What do you like best about Vev?

I still think that websites can be creative-- VEV lets you access your creativity without getting bogged down in code. All those expensive-looking scrollytelling sites? (think New York Times or Apple) Now you can make those. Quickly and easily! It truly is the only platform of its kind, and it keeps getting better. What do you dislike about Vev?

Sometimes it seems to be designed for specific uses, when it really could be used for so much more than business or academic websites. Vev is powerful enough to use for making more than just websites, the features could be used to make interactive media and art as well - maybe even expanded to create VR applications. What do you like best about Vev?

VEV is easy to use for marketing people with no code experience. I have been working a lot in VEV for the last 6 months and I can quickly make modern-looking campaign sites with all the elements that I need. I love that it is intuitive and has a good user experience. It is great fun to explore all the possibilities within VEV. What do you dislike about Vev?

I would wish there were easy access to Pardot forms (Salesforce B2B email marketing system). I have seen that there are Marketo forms. But I am sure that it could easily be fixed if we asked for it (and we might do that). There is not much to complain about. I am very happy to use VEV. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vev solving and how is that benefiting you?

We need to be able to make campaign sites for marketing purposes easy and fast and with no code experience. It should be easy to learn and multiple people in our organization need access to building/designing and keeping the sites updated. That is all possible with VEV. We had a big wish to include video and audio and permission sign-up, which was not possible in our current solution, so being able to do that in VEV is perfect for us. What do you like best about Vev?

Baked in animation and other tools made it very easy to build a marketing web page but it can be used for many types of pages! I completed building my marketing page after only 8 hours! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Vev?

Vev's capabilities for interactive storytelling are very exciting—typewriter text, click to expand, scrollytelling blocks, etc—which is why we went with the platform. We can make content-first landing pages fairly quickly and bring our editorial to life with their features. I love being able to adapt content for viewports. What do you dislike about Vev?

We were one of the early users and had to rely on chat a lot for features that weren't working or malfunctioning. When they push updates live, our older pages get impacted and we have to redesign components sometimes. I would also love to see more image gallery options. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
