What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

Very easy to use.

I use it every day to schedule and backup my infrastructure.

I create, integrate and implemate a new Veeam server quite easily : Export and reimport the Backup File configuration in the new server -> You have your new server.

It took me 1 day to integrate my new one

What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

We use Veeam to protect our VMWare environment and find that it works great for our use case. We have restored both files back into production environments and tested entire VMs with minimal effort and no issues. The setup is very straightforward once linked to vSphere with a service account. We can quickly verify all machines that need protection are part of backup jobs. Offsite copy is similarly easy to set up and allows us to copy data to an offsite DC. On the one occasion, I needed support I was able to get a session set up with support and quickly resolve the issue. With additional features coming, this will remain our go-to for backups.

We will be adding 365 backups in the future for all users after recently implementing a test group and were very satisfied with the results.

The ability to bring your own storage keeps cost under control and allows us to tailor the process to our environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

One area that we wish Veeam made clearer was the status of individual backup/copy statuses. On our copy jobs, they can often stick at 99% and its difficult to get an explanation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Veeam Data Platform is a best service for the companies looking not only for a backup and replication solution but also for dashboards, cloud backups and more. Veeam agent is very easy to use can be installed on microsoft and linux. Not to forget about the wonderful support team who usallly reply in a day and then also after the case has been registered, they followup almost everyday just to make sure we have found the resolution. Veeam Data Platform is crazy simple and effective for backups and restoring stuff. As someone who's super into building mobile apps, I've gotten a lot of good use out of it. Setting up backups is easy peasy, and scheduling them to run automatically is clutch since I don't have to constantly baby sit. What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

i dig how detailed but simple they make bringing back your data. Its been mad reliable for my workflow. But sometimes the app takes longer than I'd like to open up, especially if my WiFi is being sketchy. A little annoying when everything else is so smooth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The customer service (from sales to support) is amazing and the process of actual backup and restore. The product is also feature rich and easy to impliment/integrate inside the organization (from servers to workstations). Anotehr nice thing is that I can set my own frequency and time of backups. What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

Very robust and reliable backup solution that integrates well with our Exagrid backup appliance. Support for data deduplication and compression, backup schedule, and ability to replicate to both on-prem and cloud DR sites. It supports replication and has a very easy-to-use and configured interface where there isn't much of a learning curve. In addition, Veeam offers excellent support when you run into problems, which assures you that problems will be solved in a reasonable amount of time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Like with every software, sometimes there are glitches. I wish there were a better snapshot management option when the backup fails for some reason. From time to time, there needs to be a snapshot cleanup within VMware virtual environment. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
