Has good compression abilities and User friendly and simple to deploy the solution in any infra. direct backup to cloud and we can do tiering for the destination to proceed with the requirement Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

If you have configure the SOBR the first full backup will done in the latest available extent but if you have run the multiple backup at the same time all the policy will use the latest available extent which occur the job failure due to extent storage unavailability, direct backup to tape not supported and the deduplication as compare the backup exec is low. What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

The best thing about Veeam is it's simple setup and how quick you can get off the ground to start using the product.

I've used many various pieces of backup technology over the years, but I can't sing Veeam's praises high enough. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

The only thing I didn't initially like about Veeam was the inability to perform 15 minute incremental backups like StorageCraft, that said if you utilise shadow copies, then you have nothing to worry about. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

Veeam is very flexible in how you can configure it, it's hardware agnostic, and it's cost effective. It can meet any design and use case requirements ranging from small businesses to large and complex businesses. It's included utilities for AD, Exchange, and SQL are top notch, way better than any of the other similar utilities from other backup solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

Veeam requires configuration and a bit more hands on management and administration because it is such an open and flexible platform. It is not set it and forget it, so if it's not setup correctly, you can expose yourself to risks from ransomware and hacking to poor performance. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

Super easy to setup and while veeam is expensive, backing up to an S3 container ended up making it cheaper than our previous solution. Customer support was great, even when we were trailing the software they treated us as if we owned it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Veeam Data Platform?

Veeam isn't very complex to set up or manage; it's pretty affordable for medium sized businesses (30+ employees), and their technical support has always been outstanding. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Veeam Data Platform?

The use of bombastic language in naming their product is the only thing I am not too keen on. But on the other hand, they fully deserve the use of superlatives with a product range as good as theirs. There also used to be regular weekly updates emailed by the guy named Gostev that I sorely miss. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
