742 Stack Overflow for Teams Reviews

Stack Overflow for teams is a great tool. It's helping us to document some of our process and how to fix some problems that we have when developing. And for train new ones or when I new one arrive in the team, now we have a place where the new one can find answers for all kind of questions or, when the new team player have a doubt, it's just to ask and the integration with Microsoft Teams will share his doubt with the team that can quickly answer his questions... Now, the knowledge is not just in the heads of fews - is shared with everyone.
Its also great the options you have to tag some team members to answer the questions and all things that made Stack Overflow what it is for developers today. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tool is a little bit expansive. Other tools (like the tool to document things or about the settings to rate people) are just available in more expensive plans. That's ok but, I think that the tool to document things could be add in the basic plan and not just in the more expansive plans. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I appreciate how SO for Teams allows knowledge to built up and managed naturally without too much conscious effort from the team. The Q&A format feels natural and team members gravitate to this format to build up granular knowledge documentation in an easily searchable format. It's easy to direct people to try asking their questions in SO, where they will often discover existing answers in the process of formulating their question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Competing answers and the up/down voting mechanism work well for public Q&A but might not be the most useful feature for private team documentation stores. Also some team members don't engage with the Q&A format and instead try to link out of it to other knowledge stores -- it could be useful if SO for Teams could discourage this behaviour and somehow nudge team members to document the actual knowledge into it so it's organised and searchable for others. A familiar look and a nice editing interface. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
We don't use this as a Q&A site so much as a repository for documentation. So the insistence on 'answering' is a bit tiresome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is easy to use and the fact that we can put comments on questions and answers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be nice to have categories for the themes which could regroup questions Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Stack Overflow is a great and exceptional tool for Teams as it provides immediate solutions and help and is easy to navigate and use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I believe there's not a significant thing that I dislike about Stack Overflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's a distinct, easy-to-navigate area for discussing any issues the team encounters, allowing people to log onto the website and give people a hand when they're ready. The ability to ask specific people questions is also convenient when you suspect there's someone most likely to know the answer. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's probably not the best place to ask a question when you urgently need an answer unless the people who can answer your question regularly browse it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
