Simplistic interface, configuration, and clustering.

Fairly easy migration from VMware.

Snapshotting feature is lacking compared to competitors.

Support is responsive, but rarely escalated to higher tiers when needed.

Inability to revert in-place from snapshot.

What do you like best about Scale Computing Platform?

The interface for Scale Computing's software is very easy to use and understand, but the software support engineers are the best. Coming into the role I am in now, they've been extremely helpful with every question or concern I've had. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scale Computing Platform?

As of right now, I do not have anything I dislike about Scale Computing's platform. The only downside I can see is there is a lot of back end things going on that I don't have access to myself in the case of troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust, yet easy to use"

What do you like best about Scale Computing Platform?

Setting up new servers is a breeze. Replication to other clusters was also simple to set up. The learning curve is not huge with Scale, and the support is top-notch. Glad we made the move! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Scale Computing Platform?

One thing I don't like, but it isn't hard to do, is that I have to clone a server if I want to change replication partners. Again, it doesn't take long, I'd just like to be able to do it on the fly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We are a small IT shop, and complex virtualization systems take too long to learn and administer. Scale saves me time in everything we do in it, to include creating servers, setting up replication, testing snapshot recovery, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
