What do you like best about PhpStorm?

I decided to use PHPStorm as my main code editor/ide due its good performance comparing to others code editors like VSCode. The features I like the most are, between others, the code completion, misspelling corrections and code navigation. With them, I learnt a lot about use of PSR, code style and code performance. Also, I am able to refactor old code with more confidence because PHPStorm is in charge of ensuring the changes I've are not broking thinks (rename variables, moving code..) before executing tests. I am also detecting typos in the existing code, finding unused pieces of code, and it's more easy than ever to do code refactors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

The main problem I had with PHPStorm is that it is really slow if you want to code using a remote ssh mount. With an attached ssh mount it is impossible to use some integrations like git, code navigation and others. This feature works better on sublime, where you can work using an ssh mount without the same wast of time than PHPStorm. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

The IDE actually understands when you are using a PHP5 project or a PHP7 project, thats just amazing, no need to thinker with options that you don't need because flatly aren't available on the version you are using in that specific moment. I dislike PHP, I try to avoid whenever I can but sometimes I have to integrate a server side script and PHP it's the fastest way, whenever I need do that I use PhpStorm, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

Price tag is a little high, still totally worth it, the time saved using a good IDE is worth more than using a free IDE and extra hours per project, pays itself in the long run. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

It's just the best tool for editing PHP, it works marvelously, I'm not a fan of PHP myself but PhpStorm makes less annoying having to deal with the PHP side of the website. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

Nothing wrong with the program itself but It's a bit annoying when you refactor something by mistake, I'm not a fan of the default keyboard shortcuts, and yet I'm too lazy to change them. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

I liked how Phpstorm was able to handle code auto completion which made our team to code faster and with less syntax errors. Phpstorm has several built-in tools that aid the developer in doing their work such as git, an ftp client and a plugin system that can be used to extend PhpStorm's functionality. To add on that, Phpstorm is free for students and as such it helped me complete my project with all the features it has available for me to use. Further, Phpstorm is cross platform which means that you can use it on a windows environment or on a linux operating system and get the same user interface and functionality. What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

I love that PhpStorm isable to highlight PHP syntax correctly thus saving me the time to cross check on the syntax I have written. PhpStorm also provides the best auto completion among IDE's which ensures that you write code faster by helping you complete common programming structures. To add, the user interface has been designed well with the most used features being assigned easy to remember shortcut keys. PhpStorm has got it right by making it easy to setup debugging, a thing that has been hard to setup is now done in one click and therefore debug your application becomes easy. What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

The best thing about PHPStorm is the ease with which you can build applications. The design of the machine, the automatic termination, and the resources for the specific resources of the Jetbrains IDE, such as the toolbar for the vehicle code and the user interface, are easy to understand and voice in the future. Enter without software support compositor, docker, Git, Symfony as a plugin... For whatever application or framework you use to program your Web application, it will be compatible with this IDE, embedded terminal to be able to perform the command or directly install or update you can edit the templates used by the IDE when generating classes, interfaces... What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

In my opinion, the key shortcuts were better in Visual Studio or Visual Studio Code. Another thing is that the search sometimes has trouble finding something else your IDE really understands when you are using a PHP5 project or a PHP7 project, that is just amazing, you do not need to think with options that you do not need because it is not available in the version that you are using at that specific moment. What do you like best about PhpStorm?

1. PHP storm gives syntax suggestions, references to the location of classes and files imported in the present code, and allows one to use short commands to create divs and javascript functions.

2. JetBrains offers a year subscription to students to use PhpStorm for free.

What do you dislike about PhpStorm?

What do you like best about PhpStorm?

The software is used for programming in a lot of languages, not only PHP.

I usually program with PHP, but also Jquery, Javascript, html in most part.

In some cases, I loved the integration with some frameworks, like Spring and Laravel.
