Thank you for the input.

As an FYI, In the new IoT18 skin that is available in 7.6.1, horizontal scrolling has been made easier by allowing you to click and drag anywhere on the screen in order to scroll, similar to a touch device. Vertical scrolling in Maximo is typically unavoidable due to the large volumn of fields. If the fields are not being used, they can be removed using the application designer to reduce vertical scrolling. We hope that helps!
