Maximo is a very robust EAM system that will allow you to configure asset lifecycle maintenance activies at an enterprise level. It is more user friendly than many of the other enterprise level systems and is easily configurable to allow very specific solutions to be designed based on your business case. We are trying to become more proactive rather than reactive when it comes to maintenance. We are also trying to digitally capture all our asset information, work history, spare parts, etc. to allow us to have a better understanding of how our assets are performing while improving uptime. I like the fact that there are multiple portlets for the different aspects that we utilize within my company. We have numerous instances of Maximo running and the systems allows us to gather the necessary data in an organized fashion to be able to compile and report on our data. What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

I don't like the fact that it doesn't integrate with our remedy ticketing system. We use the Service Request portal and would love to integrate it with remedy so that we can easily report out on the tickets we receive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
