What do you like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

The mos useful part is the IOT using which now it is easy to get real-time meter readings from assets to in Maximo and than the inspection can be planned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

IBM MAXIMO as a product is very efficient but when developer finds some oob bug and raise PMR it take lot of time to fix Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I have solving user's issues and problems are often related to bugs in the current version of Maximo Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

The Commodity Groups and Codes in the Item Master application provides a way for us to analyze spending by product type (based on Commodity), it can also be used to generate an accurate report to the management. While the Item Classifications and Attributes can be used to accommodate the technical specification of items and to identify similar object. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Maximo Application Suite?

Customization is sometimes required but can be done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Recommendations to others considering IBM Maximo Application Suite:

In order to maximize the functionality of the system, I highly recommend that during the implementation, the Material Classification with their Attributes and the Commodity Groups and Codes are also implemented, it is required a good data preparation (to prevent “garbage-in, garbage-out”), but also end up with an excellent result. What problems is IBM Maximo Application Suite solving and how is that benefiting you?

By properly implementing the Material Classification with their Attributes in the Item Master application and also by utilizing the right Commodity Groups and Codes, I realized that we have actually improve the functionality of the system, easy to filter/search for items and easy to manage our Items which is required to support the Maintenance activities.
