There are a few things I don't like about IBM Maximo. The main one is the installation. It's not very straightforward and can be a huge waste of time, especially when I feel like I'm an expert on learning new systems - but no, apparently there are still challenges to face that hasn't become second nature to me yet. To make matters even worse, the project managers who aren't as tech-savvy as me get sidetracked since this process requires someone with expertise in order to set it all up initially. I have been an IBM Maximo user for over four years. At the time of this review, I am a senior analyst. I have been using it to manage our properties and equipment. My team is using it to keep track of our material inventory and to do work orders. We also use it to do predictive maintenance and to monitor our assets. My favorite thing about it is its speed and flexibility. I can quickly enter data and get a fast report. I can also export the data to Excel for deeper analysis. Despite being a comprehensive asset management solution, Maximo lacks flexible case management tools, making it difficult to engage in change management. It also has a cumbersome change management procedure and an inconvenient user interface. The licensing scheme is also perplexing and difficult to grasp for new users. Helps me a lot with our asset management, creating Job Plans, Preventive Maintenance, Track our Inventory and monitor our consumables, able to get the right data for Job completion, Create work permit, and service request. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Integrated modules in maximo helps the user to utilize maximum features in minimum amount of time. Tools being used by me are Work orders tracking, procurement, Preventive maintenance etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
One thing that is sometime anoying is auto logged out feature. while using any module or writing a detailed reporting, if it gets logged out, all writing disappers. so this feature should be disabled or auto saving should be enabled.
I have used another CMMS software where there was a feature of auto PR in procurement if the stock reaches minimum level. I think this feature is missing.
