1. Drag and drop visualization feature makes life easier

2. Ability to connect with multiple data sources

3. Ability to handle unstructured data

4. Quite similar to PowerBi, transitioning to IBM Cognos Analytics will be easier if you have some experience with Power Bi or Tableaeu for that matter Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about IBM Cognos Analytics?

Ability to connect with multiple data sources that are not only structured but also unstructured is one of the strengths of Cognos Analytics. Consequently, it is highly flexible and enables deeper analysis of various data which comes from different sources. The drag and drop interface for creating visualizations is also very intuitive and easy to use, even for those who are not technically savvy.

Another thing that I found really useful while using the software was having the dashboard feature. It allows you to monitor key performance indicators in real time while still showing the entire data at a glance. This comes handy when you need to make snap decisions or detect tendencies that require attention. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about IBM Cognos Analytics?

The initial setup and customization of the software is time-consuming, but this drawback was minor. It is worth all the effort in the end and finally, IBM’s support team were always there to help for any trouble. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Now its been while i am using this tool for reporting and analysis,data visualization, and its capability of advance analysis using AI Technology and its ability to integrate with various data sources. I find it easy to use and can easily share reports and dashboards with my peers.

To be very frank i dont encounters many issues while working with the tool, but one thing i want to highlight is performance issues while handling large dataset.
