The time based scoring helps in evaluating not only completion of the problem but also the time taken to solve it. This is very useful in assessing the right talent

The support is very good and immediately reverts with queries.

The inability to withdraw invites incase of incorrectly sent or no longer want to extend the test. No ability to resend invites in case someone doesn't receive the email. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This solves our assessment problem at college campuses for new hires. The ability to run assessments in large numbers, get a clear score make it very objective and easy to evaluate. Tough to call. I find the platform really easy to set up and configure. One of the people had some issues with the platform (submitted their test before completing it); but I cannot confirm if that was 'user error' or platform issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Coderbyte for Employers?

Preconfigured questions and test cases that allows users to use an online IDE to submit a coding sample. Relatively low price point to other tools evaluated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Coderbyte for Employers?

Difficult to tune the prescreening questions to meet our needs - we're still working through a balance of finding questions that aren't a time burden on candidates but produce a decent amount of code to review for quality (not just accuracy + time as is auto graded). What problems is Coderbyte for Employers solving and how is that benefiting you?

We use the tool for candidate prescreening - a 20-30 minute technical exercise before a candidate is invited for an onsite interview.
