What I liked best about using the Whova app was how it brought everything I needed for the event into one convenient place. The app made it incredibly easy to access the full agenda, session descriptions, and even room maps, so I never felt lost or out of the loop.

Last September, we hosted our first-ever Women's Weekend at our summer camp and the registration platform I used was a bit clunky. We only host a few events outside the regular camp season and some can be a bit complex for set-up. The first thing that caught my eye with RegFox was the bounty of helpful, short, video tutorials. Set-up is very user-friendly and intuitive to start with, but I also like to figure things out on my own as much as possible as typically it can slow things down to have to wait for response to a "help ticket" or something of the sort. That being said, when I couldn't find an answer to what I was looking for, I typed a question into the chat box and - wham! - back came a speedy reply from Whitney - a real human being! She was terrific, and continued to be on a zoom that we scheduled to go over a few more questions I had. For actual features, I appreciate creating "actions" (if this, then that) as they allow for a less-cluttered appearance and I suspect it will help with reporting later on. The platform allows you to create codes for specific registrants (discounted or free attendance) so that they can be in the system, making it easy for blast emails, and RegFox also offers numerous templates to get you up and running quickly if you're not into designing. The most helpful part about it is how I am able to categorize events based on their nature. Since people always look out for events based on whether its business/networking/party/adventure.., Eventbrite has always given me the ease of categorizing my events so people can find them easily. Eventbrite is so far a credible platform for me, with customer support agents operating around the clock to assist me if I am undergoing any issue with my ticketing. I have to say that I have been extremely impressed how easy it has been to create and manage my event using EventCreate. No need to watch long, drawn out tutorial videos to immediately begin implementating and using. I researched several different providers and landed on Accelevents as the best value for overall features and customization. The entire team is amazing, with exceptional response time via chat support. I was able to customize anything I needed for implementation and the system was user friendly. I have used this at two full events and will use it again for another this September (2025).
One of the biggest bonuses and reason for picking Accelevents was their integration with Square for credit card processing (everyone else used Stripe). We also utilized the integration with our new HubSpot system.
