“Valuable and useful but comes with it's own unique challenges”
What do you like best about Salesforce Platform?

Drag-and-drop interface: I can create apps, forms, workflows, and dashboards maybe more or less without much coding knowledge.

Automated workflows: I can automate business processes like approvals, notifications, or record updates using Flow Builder.

Custom objects and fields: I can adapt Salesforce exactly to the business neeeds.

Reusable components: UI components can be created and reused through Lightning App Builder.

Grows with your team: This enables users to build solutions without having to wait for the developers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Salesforce Platform?

Hidden costs: Need to pay extra for: Add-ons like Marketing Cloud, Service Cloud, CPQ, etc. Customization and integration often require hiring Salesforce-certified consultants, which adds to costs

Hard for non-tech users to understand terminology (objects, Apex, flows, triggers) and navigate between Classic and Lightning interfaces.

Note: if you are using large datasets - then system lag time is high.

Customising can be tough as it requires more ongoing maintenance, i.e we need dedicated salesforce team/admin to just keep things running.

There is a risk of functionality breaking during platform updates (which happen three times a year). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Salesforce Platform solving and how is that benefiting you?

Salesforce lightning is helping me boost productivity and makes our work [and life] easier by doing the followingg:

Manage Cases: Track, assign, and resolv customer service issues very efficiently.

Handle Contacts and Accounts: Maintain customer and company records and link them to related data.

Create Reports and Dashboards: Generate and visualize performance metrics, trends, and KPIs.

Collaborate via Chatter: Communicate with team members, share updates, and follow important records.

Store and Share Files: Upload documents and attach them to relevant records for easy access. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Powerful, Flexible and Surprisingly Easy to use”
What do you like best about Google Compute Engine?

The most helpful thing about Google Compute Engine is that how flexible and reliable it is. It make me feel like I am in control. I cam spin up exactly the kind of virtual machine I need. I can get a VM up and running within minutes. Whether it is something small testing or a high performance machine for production. I use GCE regularly for staging, running backend services, and even for quick prototypes. From live migration to VM it helps in crazy cost saving. Whether it is connecting to cloud storage, using identity and access management or integrating with kubernetes, it all feels like it belongs in same ecosystem, it just works, I haven't had to reach out often, but when I did support was responsive and helpful. Getting started with GCE is so simple and straightforward, the UI is clean, the setup process is intuitive and implementation actually makes sense, whether it is my first VM or configuring firewall rules. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Google Compute Engine?

While I have mostly positive experience with GCE, there is one thing that could be improved.

Limited regional availability for some services. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Google Compute Engine solving and how is that benefiting you?

GCE helps solve the problem of managing infrastructure at scale. As the business grows and traffic fluctuates, GCE enables me to automatically scale compute resources up or down without needing to manually provision. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Serverless Test Automation That Works: My Experience with AWS Lambda Integration”
What do you like best about AWS Lambda?

In my current role as a QA Test Engineer at Aarete Technosoft Pvt. Ltd., we’ve integrated AWS Lambda into our automation framework to support Selenium-based UI testing. The best part about using Lambda is that it completely eliminates the need for maintaining dedicated test servers. No EC2 lifecycle, no infrastructure stress — just lightweight, serverless execution.

One major win for us was the ability to run multiple test cases in parallel by triggering separate Lambda functions for different test groups. We’ve integrated this into our Jenkins pipeline, so once a new build is deployed to the QA environment, Lambda is automatically triggered via API Gateway to start our automation suite — no manual steps, faster feedback.

We’ve also packaged headless Chromium and Selenium scripts using Lambda Layers, making test execution efficient and cost-effective without spinning up EC2 instances.

After test runs, logs and reports are uploaded to Amazon S3, and another Lambda function processes them, pushing summarized data into CloudWatch for trend analysis and monitoring. This seamless flow has helped us speed up regression cycles and gain real-time test visibility. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about AWS Lambda?

While AWS Lambda has added a lot of flexibility to our Selenium automation workflows, there are a few limitations I’ve observed in our project at Aarete Technosoft Pvt. Ltd. that impact the testing experience:

1.When a function hasn’t been invoked in a while, there’s a cold start delay. This is particularly noticeable in our CI/CD pipelines where fast feedback matters. Even a few extra seconds per function adds up during regression runs.

2.Since Lambda runs are headless and non-interactive, debugging flaky UI issues becomes harder without a live browser view. We rely entirely on logs and screenshots saved to S3.

3.Lambda’s 15-minute timeout can be a challenge for long-running Selenium suites, especially if a test involves waiting for backend jobs or heavy UI flows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is AWS Lambda solving and how is that benefiting you?

I work on automating the testing of enterprise-level web applications using Selenium. Earlier, we had to rely on EC2 instances or shared virtual machines to run our test suites. Managing those environments was time-consuming, and they often sat idle, leading to wasted resources and maintenance overhead.

AWS Lambda solved this by allowing us to shift to a fully serverless model. Now, we split our Selenium test suites into smaller chunks and run them in parallel using multiple Lambda functions. This has reduced our test execution time from 45 minutes to under 15 minutes, giving the development team much faster feedback after every build.

We’ve integrated Lambda directly with our Jenkins pipeline. As soon as a new build is deployed to the QA environment, Lambda is triggered automatically, launching the necessary Selenium test cases — no manual steps required, and no dependency on shared environments.

Lambda also brings scalability without setup — we no longer need extra orchestration tools to run tests in parallel. It scales up automatically and tears down when done. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“NIght and Day Difference Between GoDaddy and Cloudways”
What do you like best about Cloudways?

I signed up for the free 3-day trial and was basically blown away. I put up my high traffic site within a day or so and tested - seemed just dandy. Their AI bot for help is really good, and if you still need more help - they have live chat. Even on a late Sunday night.

I went live after the 3-day trial. Their super easy interface is fantastic. I was monitoring my sight and determined I went "too small" on the server size option. All I had to do was perform a "Vertical Scale" - and wha-la! I had twice the RAM and twice the CPU power, and all within about 30 minutes. A quick change in the DNS and bingo! Super fast server.

Their monitoring tools and basically everything they provide will NOT let you down. I am extremely pleased!!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Very good selection of services. 99.99% Uptime.”
What do you like best about DigitalOcean?

DigitalOcean has very good selection of services. You can create VPS server of all sizes and quantities. For instance, you can create a vps host (with 1cpu and 10gb hard disk) for as little as $4 per month. It can go all the way up to $1630/mo with 60 CPUs.

You can create GPU droplets as well.

Other think is about almost 100% uptime. Initially there some speed issues over the past. It could kick in once or twice in a month. But I think DigitalOcean has worked on this. I created an uptime monitoring service (which also is from DigitalOcean). It says, last outage was around 175 days ago. That is very nice.

It's website is neatly structured. Great ease of use.

Customer support is also very good. Very responsive. I am using the free plan. In this plan, they reply you within 24 hours. Every time I opened a ticket, they would promptly answer it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about DigitalOcean?

I dislike a couple of things about DigitalOcean. Centos 10 was released on December 12, 2024. But it is not available yet in DigitalOcean as of today (7th May). Other providers like Vultr has it already. The selection of linux distributions is also limited. Compared to Vultr, DigitalOcean does not have that much choice of linux distributions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is DigitalOcean solving and how is that benefiting you?

“Excellent Customer Service and Features”
What do you like best about Kinsta?

Kinsta's customer service is above and beyond any other hosting company we have ever worked with. Their support team is fast, knowledgeable, and genuinely cares about resolving issues — it’s the best customer support experience we’ve had in the hosting space.

Their platform is incredibly intuitive, offering an exceptional ease of use that makes managing even complex sites feel simple. Setting everything up was straightforward, with minimal friction, which speaks volumes about their ease of implementation.

We use Kinsta daily across multiple projects, so frequency of use is high — and it’s been consistently reliable with zero performance surprises. On top of that, the number of features available out of the box is impressive, from analytics to staging environments to advanced caching.

Overall, Kinsta has exceeded expectations in every category that matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Kinsta?

I have no dislikes about Kinsta what-so-ever. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Kinsta solving and how is that benefiting you?

Kinsta has completely solved the performance issues we faced with WooCommerce on high-traffic days. Their server architecture handles PHP workers far better than any host we’ve used before, which is critical for dynamic eCommerce sites like ours. Our previous hosting provider couldn't handle simultaneous user sessions without serious slowdowns — with Kinsta, everything runs smoothly even during peak loads.

Another major advantage is that Cloudflare Enterprise is included, which dramatically improves global CDN speed, security, and reliability — without the added cost or complexity of managing it ourselves.

Since switching to Kinsta, our site speed has increased noticeably, uptime is flawless, and we’re no longer worrying about caching plugins or downtime during spikes. It’s allowed us to focus on growth rather than firefighting hosting issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Reliable Serverless”
What do you like best about Azure Functions?

We rely on Azure Functions a lot in our day-to-day, especially for async processing, webhooks, and real-time triggers across our hybrid cloud setup. What makes it a strong tool is how easily it connects with the rest of Azure. You can plug it into Event Grid, Service Bus, or Cosmos DB in no time. No need to write a bunch of boilerplate. Just wire it up and go. That kind of integration saves serious time during builds.

Getting started was smooth. We had our first function apps live in production within a couple of days. The triggers and bindings take care of most of the boring setup, so you can focus on writing actual code. It runs smoothly with both Python and .NET. Terraform works well too, letting us keep track of changes and handle rollbacks without headaches. When it comes to features, it covers everything you need HTTP calls, queue processing, timers, storage events. Scaling happens automatically and is pretty reliable. Cold starts used to be rough but have gotten much better lately, even on the cheaper consumption plan. We did run into a surprise with costs once. One of our functions got stuck retrying over and over, which blew up usage. Microsoft support jumped on it quickly, helped us find the misconfiguration, and got it fixed fast with no hassle. We use Azure Functions every single day. It runs background jobs, triggers event flows, and ties together a lot of our backend systems. It’s part of our standard toolkit now. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure Functions?

The main pain point has been cold starts, especially on the Consumption plan when running Python or Node.js for workloads where low latency matters. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Azure Functions solving and how is that benefiting you?

We’ve been leaning on Azure Functions for our backend ops, lightweight, serverless, and does the job without needing a full blown container standing by. For website perf checks with Puppeteer, it’s been rock solid. Spawns fast, grabs the page, pulls the HAR file, and dumps all the timing and size metrics. Perfect for flagging resource bottlenecks and render blockers.

We also use it to probe remote ports and check service health, basically a stealth ops bot that runs on schedule or trigger. Multi region deploys let us run tests from edge locations so we can debug region specific issues.

It’s smooth with both Linux and Windows runtimes, so whether Puppeteer needs headless Chrome or we’re doing socket-level scans, it doesn’t choke. Scaling is auto magical. One second you're running a few probes, next second you're spawning 100 checks.

We spin up Azure Functions in multiple data centers worldwide so our apps run faster and stay close to users in each region. Having both Linux and Windows support makes life way easier on the ops side. Also, the way Azure handles memory beats out other serverless setups like Firecracker, which gives us a smoother, more solid environment to run our workloads without surprises. “From localhost to https, in seconds. "Deploy from Git or your CLI"”
What do you like best about Vercel?

What I like about Vercel is its holistic approach to abstracting away infrastructure complexity. It provides a great superior developer experience that is laser-focused on one thing: shipping high-performance web applications faster. The platform's architecture feels incredibly intuitive with "zero-configuration" philosophy for deployments, paired with a powerful global edge network, transforms our entire development and release workflow.

Specifically, these are the features I value most:

- Automated CI/CD Pipeline: The Git integration is seamless and powerful. Once a repository is linked, Vercel’s CI/CD just works, without needing manual YAML configuration or complex pipeline setup. It intelligently handles monorepos, automatically building and deploying only the projects that have changed.

- Collaborative Preview Deployments: This feature alone has revolutionized our workflow. For every pull request, Vercel generates a unique, shareable, and fully functional preview of the application. This isn't just a static mock-up; it's a live environment. It enables asynchronous collaboration between developers, QA, designers, and product managers, allowing them to test and provide feedback on actual working code before it ever reaches production.

- The Global Edge Network for Peak Performance: Vercel’s commitment to speed is evident in its Edge Network. It automatically handles caching and serves assets from points-of-presence close to the end-user, which has a direct and measurable positive impact on our Core Web Vitals. Furthermore, its built-in, automatic Image Optimization service is best-in-class, serving next-gen formats and resizing images on the fly without any developer effort.

- A Symbiotic Relationship with Next.js: As a team that heavily relies on Next.js, Vercel is the definitive cloud-native platform for it. The integration is flawless. Advanced features like Server-Side Rendering (SSR), Incremental Static Regeneration (ISR), Server Components, and API Routes are not just supported; they are optimized to run with maximum efficiency and scalability on Vercel's infrastructure.

- Effortless Scalability with Serverless and Edge Functions: Vercel makes backend logic incredibly accessible and scalable. We use Serverless Functions for heavier tasks like processing form data or interacting with a database, and they scale from zero to massive workloads without any intervention. The addition of Edge Functions, which run on the Edge Network itself, has been perfect for lightweight middleware, such as handling authentication, running A/B tests, or modifying requests, all with near-zero latency.

- Analytics: Vercel Analytics provides real-world performance data directly from our users' devices, measuring metrics like FCP, LCP, and a Real Experience Score. What I appreciate most is that it's built with privacy in mind and has zero performance impact, as it doesn't require loading heavy third-party JavaScript libraries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Vercel?

For our specific use case, the platform has consistently delivered on its promises without causing any friction. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Vercel solving and how is that benefiting you?

The main issue Vercel addressed for our business was the friction and delays in our deployment process. Previously, shipping frontend updates was a manual, error-prone task that required dedicated DevOps resources. Additionally, our staging environments created bottlenecks, and collaboration between developers and non-technical stakeholders was inefficient.

After implementing Vercel, we nearly automated our entire deployment workflow. This significantly shortened our time-to-market for new features and bug fixes. The introduction of Preview Deployments fostered more collaboration and transparency during review cycles, enhancing the quality of our releases. Vercel’s managed infrastructure and scalable platform also allow our development team to focus solely on building features and enhancing the user experience, without worrying about server management or CDN configuration. “Centralized management and fully automated platform”
What do you like best about Nerdio Manager?

With Nerdio Manager, we can manage Azure Virtual Desktop (AVD) for all of our customers within one portal. We almost use it every day to monitor that AVD status.

The best thing I like about Nerdio is its automation. It can combine a series of complicated steps if I do it from Azure to a single click. For example, update the Gold Image. If I do it from Azure, it takes me 30 mins to 1 hour with steps of sys-prep, snapshotting from disk, saving to image, etc. But with Nerdio, it's just a single click on "Save as image". The rest of the thing will be done by Nerdio. We just need a cup of coffee and wait till it is completed. It gives us status update step-by-step. If anything went wrong, it's easy for us to troubleshoot based on the status and error message. It saved us a lot of time and effort on monthly patching.

The other thing I like is the auto-scale. The auto-scale settings are way more powerful than the Azure built-in scale plan. Also, the history of auto-scale makes us easy to optimise auto-scale to save customers' costs.

The deployment and integration for a customer is very simple. The initial setup of the whole AVD environment can be done within 30 minutes by following the wizard. I love its automation.

The customer support is also excellent. Support can find the root cause quickly and give us solutions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Nerdio Manager?

Not something I dislike, but a suggestion. The AVD troubleshooting still needs to go to Azure Insight, not from Nerdio itself. But Nerdio gives a clear link to redirect to Azure portal AVD Insight. I can see Nerdio are adding more functions from Insight already, like CPU and RAM usage of each session host, RTT of each user, etc. I am expecting more functions will be integrated into Nerdio. So I don't need to jump to Azure for anything moving forward. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Nerdio Manager solving and how is that benefiting you?

The excellent automation benefited us a lot. For example, saving and updating gold image, batch creating new session hosts, initially deploying AVD for new customers, setting up and optimizing auto-scale for AVD host pool, etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
