“Miro: The Ultimate Digital Canvas for Team Collaboration”
What do you like best about Miro?

Miro is an incredibly versatile and user-friendly visual collaboration tool that makes it easy for teams to brainstorm, plan, and work together in real time, no matter where they are. What I like best about Miro is how seamlessly it combines powerful features—like interactive whiteboards, templates, and synced content—with a clean, intuitive interface that encourages creativity and keeps everyone aligned. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Miro?

While Miro is a powerful collaboration tool, one downside is that it can become overwhelming and cluttered during large team sessions, especially when many users are editing the board at once, which can slow down performance and make it harder to stay organized. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Miro solving and how is that benefiting you?

Miro is solving the challenge of fragmented teamwork and lack of visual clarity in collaborative projects by offering a centralized, interactive platform where teams can brainstorm, plan, and execute ideas together in real time. It replaces the need for multiple tools by combining whiteboarding, diagramming, and project tracking into one seamless experience, which is especially helpful for remote or hybrid teams who need to stay aligned and productive across different time zones and locations.

For me, this has made a big difference in how I manage and contribute to projects. Instead of juggling between emails, spreadsheets, and scattered notes, I can now visualize workflows, assign tasks, and track progress all in one place. It keeps everyone on the same page, encourages creativity, and speeds up decision-making by making complex ideas easier to understand and act on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Excellent tool that supports a wide range of diagrams”
What do you like best about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I use Lucidchart primarily for data modeling, and it has been incredibly helpful in creating clear and organized data model diagrams. I really appreciate how intuitive the platform is — the drag-and-drop interface makes it easy to get started. I also like the flexibility in choosing different visual elements, which helps make my diagrams more readable and professional. Additionally, the ability to collaborate with teammates in real time, share diagrams, and manage teams has greatly enhanced our workflow. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Lucid Visual Collaboration Suite?

I would love to have the ability to define relationships between variables directly within the diagram. I'm not sure if that feature is currently available, but it would be extremely helpful for identifying which keys in the dimension tables are connected to the fact table. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about SketchWow?

SketchWoW’s expressive and engaging hand-drawn imagery adds warmth and personality, making visuals more engaging and approachable. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about SketchWow?

None noted to date. If I had to nitpick, the sheer number of templates might leave some spoilt for choice. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is SketchWow solving and how is that benefiting you?

I found that many design tools produce visuals so polished they felt almost too slick for the audience I wanted to engage. After a bit of hunting around, I came across SketchWoW, gave it a go, and here’s my experience.

This design tool takes a refreshingly different approach—turning standard presentations, mind maps, and social media posts into something more relaxed yet still engaging. Its hand-drawn aesthetic adds warmth, personality, and just the right amount of imperfection, making content feel inviting rather than soullessly corporate.

The interface is intuitive, and the ready-made templates mean you can create something rather good in minutes—without the usual faff. It strikes a splendid balance: professional enough for serious presentations, yet relaxed enough for social media, ensuring your message remains clear, credible, and refreshingly unpretentious.

In short, it helps me get my message across in a way that’s both visually striking and effortlessly effective. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Outstanding!”
What do you like best about Affinity Designer?

I was looking for an affordable yet professional alternative to Adobe Illustrator, and this is the best of the best! Affinity Designer has a perpetual license for an affordable price, compared to Adobe that offers an expensive subscription. In my opinion, the interface is easier to use than Adobe Illustrator, and seems to have just about everything Illustrator has (if not more). How things are done will be slightly different than Illustrator, but in my opinion it's a perk because it makes my work more efficient. I highly recommend Affinity Designer, especially if you are a professional graphic designer on a budget. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Affinity Designer?

The only con is that it cannot export in Adobe Illustrator AI files. This makes it hard to share original files with clients and coworkers who only use adobe. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Wondershare EdrawMax?

The ease of use, with no learning curve, is what attracted me to EdrawMax. In EdrawMax, the icons and controls are where they are logically supposed to be on the screen. In competitor software, I used to struggle a lot even with basic alignment of objects in the screen, but with EdrawMax, this process is a built-in feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Wondershare EdrawMax?

LAYERS EXPORT:

I am a generation of MS Visio, but dropped it for EdrawMax. However, the inability to have layers exported as part of the PDF file is a big deal. It is always great for presentation purposes to toggle the layers on/off when taking someone through your chart. It would be tremendously powerful to have the option to export the PDF to include layers by default, with the layers fully having the same interactivity in the exported PDF as it is in the app.

GUI THEMES:

It would be great to have various additional themes in the app, allowing the user to have the customization possible in apps like PDF Xchange Pro, where the user can customize the GUI theme and colors to their taste. These are, however, not deal breakers for me at this port to revert to the previous apps for diagramming! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Heat Maps and Density Modeling with Maptive”
What do you like best about Maptive?

There is an abundance of features at your disposal, with everything from physical map changes to completely customizable coloring of data. The only excuse for lacking aesthetics is not exploring all of the features to discover different ways to change the displays. Maptive works well for its intended use: displaying geo-spatially specific data onto a map. The customer service team is quick to respond and will help you work through issues. Overall great product that will help turn a boring table or array of data into an interesting map or series of maps to help get your point across for a sales pitch or a research paper. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Maptive?

The integration of Google Sheets and Microsoft Excel (in my case Sheets) was slightly challenging to get correct. There are some small details in headings and formatting of data to get right to make sure the synchronization works efficiently, that if ignored, make it so the data does not show up properly. Once everything is set up right, then it works quickly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Maptive solving and how is that benefiting you?

Maptive could be applied in nearly every case where data is cataloged by some location, but in my case it displayed my data throughout the Houston Metropolitan Area for a research project on electric vehicle charge anxiety. Maptive allowed me to take thousands of cells of data and compile it into a series of maps that showed electric vehicle distributions by zip code and Tesla Supercharging Stations with heat maps to create density maps. Undoubtedly the maps it produced made the research project much more manageable to read through from an outsider's perspective and demonstrated the data in a way that everyone should be able to understand. My only regret is that I didn't have the time and resources to do more with Maptive for this specific research project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“Brought me to another level of efficiency and clarity”
What do you like best about Elements.cloud?

Element Cloud has completely transformed how I manage business processes within Salesforce as a Freelance System Architect.

The ability to visually map workflows and tie them directly to Salesforce configurations is a game-changer. The diagram-led process they are using to design and build on salesforce is exactly what was missing and fustrating me in my previous implementations.

Ease of Use (★★★) – The interface is intuitive, and even with minimal training, you can start mapping processes quickly. The drag-and-drop functionality and visual clarity of process maps make collaboration seamless.

• Ease of Implementation (★★★★★) – Getting started with Element Cloud was easy. The setup was smooth, and I was able to integrate it to my ways of working

• Frequency of Use (Daily) – I use Element Cloud regularly for process documentation, impact analysis, and stakeholder collaboration. It has become an essential tool in my Salesforce business analysis toolkit.

• Number of Features (★★★★☆) – The platform offers a comprehensive set of features, from process mapping to version control.

• Ease of Integration (★★★★★) – Seamlessly integrates with Salesforce, making it easy to link processes to system components. The ability to connect with other tools ensures smooth workflow automation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Elements.cloud?

In Ease of use: the number of features can be overwhelming. I would really like if they could guide us into what is needed. For Example, I mostly work on small implementations for my clients. I would love a guided implementation on which diagrams and feature should be used for this specific use case within the app.

I also think they need to update their documentations. Map is now called diagram, and I was a bit confused at first Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Elements.cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Before using Elements.cloud, I faced several challenges in Salesforce business analysis and process documentation:

Lack of Clear Process Documentation – Previously, mapping out business processes was scattered across different tools like Lucidchart or spreadsheets, making it difficult to maintain a single source of truth.

• Benefit: Elements.cloud provides a structured, hierarchical process mapping approach that is easy to update and share with stakeholders.

2. Unorganized Requirement Gathering & Change Management – Managing Salesforce change requests was inefficient, often leading to scope creep, misalignment, and unnecessary rework.

• Benefit: With Elements.cloud, I can track business requirements, align them with processes, and ensure all stakeholders are on the same page before development begins.

3. Difficult Impact Analysis & Risk Management – Understanding how a change impacts Salesforce org configuration (objects, fields, automation) was time-consuming and error-prone.

• Benefit: Elements.cloud’s impact analysis features help me visualize dependencies and assess risks before implementing changes, preventing costly mistakes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

“GIMP: Powerful and Free, but with Some Compromises”
What do you like best about GIMP?

It has tons of features for editing raster images, plugins, supports layers, masks, scripts... really impressive for being free. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about GIMP?

It is not very intuitive for those coming from Photoshop or for beginners. The interface can seem dated or unorganized. It supports many formats, but sometimes it can give problems with complex PSD or other professional formats. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is GIMP solving and how is that benefiting you?

GIMP solves a very real problem: having access to advanced photo editing software without having to pay expensive subscriptions. In a world where tools like Adobe Photoshop have become almost a luxury, GIMP presents itself as a completely free, open source alternative available on all major platforms (Windows, macOS, Linux).

Personally, I benefit from it especially in occasional projects of graphics, photo editing and digital content creation. I don't need a professional paid suite to edit images, create banners or apply effects: with GIMP I can do all this with an acceptable learning curve. It is also particularly useful when I work on different computers, because I can simply download it without licenses to transfer.

One of the problems it has solved for me, for example, is the management of layers and masks in more complex projects: functions that are rarely found in free software, but that in GIMP are implemented in a surprisingly powerful way. Sure, there are limitations, but for those who need a flexible graphics editor and do not want to tie themselves to proprietary software, GIMP is a really valid solution. Its wide range of templates and the ability to collaborate in real-time allow for frictionless teamwork. Additionally, integration with other tools optimizes workflows. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Creately?

“Powerful tool for Graphic Design”
What do you like best about CorelDRAW?

Vector editing is very precise, ideal for logos, technical illustrations, or any design that needs to be scaled without losing quality.

Regarding print management, CMYK colors, bleeds, crop marks... it has everything necessary for what you see on screen to be printed exactly as is. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about CorelDRAW?

Corel is more accessible than other programs in many aspects, but the first time it can be confusing. Some functions are "hidden" or not as intuitive if you come from other environments like Adobe.

The updates are not of great contribution. Some new versions do not bring really significant changes, which is frustrating if you are paying a subscription.

With very large files or in newly released versions, there may be unexpected crashes or minor errors. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is CorelDRAW solving and how is that benefiting you?

CorelDRAW has been especially useful for me to work with vector graphics, especially in the creation of logos, business cards, and educational material. One of the biggest problems it solved for me was the difficulty of scaling designs without losing quality. With CorelDRAW, I can create pieces that look just as good on a small card as on a large poster.

Additionally, I have greatly benefited from the ease of use and intuitive interface. I don't need to waste time searching for hidden tools; everything is well organized. I also like that it allows importing and exporting multiple formats (it imports almost all of them), which facilitates collaboration with colleagues who use other programs. ConceptDraw DIAGRAM is the perfect tool for us to draw ERD (entity relationship diagrams) for design databases for our customers, network topologies for new IT enabled sites and plan a room’s layout with equipment. We can export these drawings into HTML documents and supply them on a secure web portal.

We use ConceptDraw PROJECT for our project management software because it’s the best we’ve found on a MacOS platform to use. It’s a great tool to plan our agile methodology projects.

An awesome bundled product ConceptDraw MINDMAP (part of the suite), allows our IT analysts to think outside the box with new ideas and paradigms. Using this software, our planning team sits in a co-working conference room, while projecting MINDMAP on large display panels to visualize new concepts based on words, meanings and derivatives of them. Because of this software, it actually improves the teamwork and collaboration within team members. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
