I like that if offers a chance to document questions that are either repeatedly asked or useful for sharing in the same way that developers are used to searching for answers
It is easy to use, presents a structured interface to share knowledge and seek help with problems. It is internal to the team and therefore prevents confidential knowledge to be shared on external forums. Overall a great tool to use, when one feels stuck with a problem that they are unable to solve.
The best part about SOFT is that you can troubleshoot things that you wouldn't normally be able to on the public Stack Overflow. The ability to make posts about company specific or things that are confidential to the company is a game-changer.
I also love being able to see what things other people need help with, because then it's easier to detectif there is some larger concern thats causing all the issues, such as framework changes that need to be made.
