I love its simplicity. You can enumerate your daily tasks and cross those once they are complete Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
They should provide more bullet points options for the basic plan Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Workflowy is simple and efficient. You can effectively organize and label meeting notes, brainstorm sessions, or research projects. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a more rigid system than it should be. There is no way to embed links, and the sharing options aren't that useful. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is simple! It has a very minimalist interface which makes it easy to use. You can just write about anything and then organise your ideas into a list with bullet points. You cannot change the font size, but you can choose from a group of fonts. You can also italicise, bolden, or underline a bullet point. You can also make nested lists that are easy to structure. You can even drag items up or down a list. You can also select multiple items at a time and perform a bulk action on them. Items are also very searchable. You can use hashtags to label items too. If you click a bullet point, a menu pops up that allows you to tag an item as complete, add a note to it, duplicate it, export it, or delete it. You can also point the mouse cursor on top of or before a bullet point--where the plus/minus sign appears--to expand or collapse a list. It also allows to share a list for collaborating on it with your colleagues. When a list grows too big, you can hide or archive 'completed' lists. These hidden/archived lists can be made visible again very easily--again, by one click. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Color formatting is not available. You cannot change the font size. Its IOS app is very buggy--they released it less than a year ago. My colleagues who use the Android app don't seem to be experiencing as many crashes and bugs as I do. Could be that its IOS app is much newer than its Android, which has been around for a few years.
If you use it for free, you can enter only one hundred bullet points. They have only one paid option in it fifty dollars per year! Fifty dollars to create lists and bullet points. Even though we are using the paid version, they have not been helpful with fixing our problems with the IOS apps. It continues to crash or not update the changes made on the IOS app. And the back-up feature is only available for Dropbox, not Google Drive--we use Google Drive at my workplace, not Dropbox.
Finally, you cannot resize the document window. This means that with huge lists you have to scrolling down or up for a while to get to the bullet point you want! Huge lists can easily become overwhelming. Resizing the document window, color formatting, pack-up to Google Drive, and changing font size are some of the features they need to add to be able to compete with similar web-based application softwares. I like the way it allows you to create thought clouds, and different "brain trees" if you will, easily and can be uploaded and backed up to the cloud Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Occasionally I have trouble toggling back and forth between the different clouds, but overall it's good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
i really like that I can create simple yet infinite lists. Also that I am able to share with my co-workers. Saves us a lot of time while being more efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only two things that II dislike are that it seems a bit cluttered and the limitations for customization. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The dragging of bullets. I also like the bright colors the tools allow you to use. In the case of a shopping list, I already received this from a couple of stores I shopped at. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything else. I am a list maker from way back. I list my clothing. I list what I eat. I list what I need to buy. You get the idea. This app came across as a flowery version of a pen and paper. If I want to make my list pretty, I just use alternative colors of ink. I am sure I don't spend 5.00 a month to accomplish the same thing. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
WorkFlowy is very simple to use. It's organization is very unique and bare bones, which is great for users such as myself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Although I enjoy the organizational system of WorkFlowy, I feel like some settings that offer other organizational settings would be great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The tutorials make it easy to get started, and it helps a lot with keeping track of documents and progress Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I would like to have the document potentially shareable and editable by multiple users, and give them access to the files on the same platform Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's an infinite bullet list of lists within lists. For a list maker like me, this is a perfect tool. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
because the scope of information you can store is basically infinite, it takes some getting used to navigating between lists. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
