I like how amazingly flexible and powerful Workflowy is. I started using it just for its outlining capabilities – which are great. But the more I use Workflowy, the more I realize the many more things it can handle, and handle well. Fast, reliable, and just really well designed. Also, new features always seem to be judiciously chosen and well implemented – keeps getting better and better. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The one thing Workflowy is missing for me is share-sheet functionality on iOS. That would be a really powerful addition because it would make it so much faster and easier to throw stuff into Workflowy from my phone and iPad. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that it has no excess frills or unnecessary features! This is so so so rare and I love it. There is no app anywhere like this that combines the tedious task of taking notes with the time consuming task of organizing and finding your way back to this or that particular piece of information without any distractions and without the complication of other apps--like One Note and Evernote which I like very much still but it's way more complicated and lengthy to navigate. Workflowy achieves this by its ingenious pairing of bullet pointing and hyperlinks. Simple absolutely genius. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that more people don't know about it. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like the organization of tasks that I can have, a minimalist to-do list and which I can take my results with few clicks Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The biggest problem is that workflowy only remains as a to-do list, while there are other platforms that have greater integrations and great content. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I'm a very creative and organized person. This causes a lot of issues for me when using typical productivity tools, as I end up wasting a lot of time on re-organizing my dashboards.
The simplicity and power of Workflowy allow me to make these re-organizations extremely fast, keeping me productive and creative at the same time! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There's no way to suggest improvements or new features.
I wish there was a way to easily contact and engage with the team (as a paying customer). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using WorkFlowy for past 1.5 Years and it has been really good experience as i am able to make notes and take MOM on it and share it with team members. Also, i have privileges if i want them to edit the notes or not. There are short cuts which can make work easy and they all are provided in the right side bar of the page. It can also be installed on system or can be opened in chrome. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As such nothing much there to dislike. Because it's a very simple tool, there purpose is being filled by making it easy for users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Workflowy turns a list of ideas and to-dos into a digestible, collapsable list! So helpful! Other platforms are great but overly complex, but not this one. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish there were colors, or that I could drop in emojis. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Easy, cross-platform tool to quickly taking structural notes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's as perfect as it is. I cannot mention any dislikes. Better export to word-processing would be good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like that it is bare bones - in other words there are no distractions like other note taking apps. It also helps having peace of mind that all my notes backup to dropbox so I don't have to worry about losing anything. Really glad that there is a native app on iOS rather than having to use a web based solution. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I wish the keyboard shortcuts were more intuitive - they are helpful but I have to actively think about what they are specific to workflowy vs other apps I use. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can hold an incredibly large amount of data in an extremely easy to review, edit, digest and searchable way Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
No ways to add hyperlinks to words, you have to add the entire URL. I also wish there was a way to add color is the battery differentiate between different types of data or information Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Minimalism, simplicity and intuitive navigation. I have used Workflowy both on mobile phone and personal computer, and my lists were always synchronized. The free version was just enough for our needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
With bigger trees it becomes easy to get lost navigating the project. It also might be troubling if one has no internet connection - keeping it up-to-date becomes impossible. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
