142 QA Wolf Reviews

Honestly, where do I start? We brought them in thinking it would be a temporary fix while we built our own E2E testing setup. That was about a year ago, and we're not building our own anymore. QA Wolf turned what I expected to be a temporary solution into a core part of our testing strategy.
The communication has been refreshing. They don't spam you with updates, but when they reach out, it's actually useful stuff. Early on, they helped us make the business case internally for QA automation and built some proof-of-concepts that immediately showed value in terms of people-hours-saved. I wasn't expecting that level of partnership from a vendor.
Their bug-finding capabilities genuinely surprised me. We had some bugs we knew about but figured would be tough to catch. Not only did they catch those, but they found several issues that had been lurking in our system for years that we had no clue existed. Their engineers are sharp.
We've definitely cut down on manual testing, though I should probably measure that more precisely. Their process for flagging regressions is solid. They catch stuff and let us know before it becomes a problem. It's nice not constantly worrying about whether something broke after a deployment.
Their platform is actually well-built too. You can dig into test recordings, check out the source code, see what workflows are running. The CI/CD integration is straightforward. Documentation is clear without being overly verbose. It just works, which is rarer than it should be. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly, it's hard to find much to complain about. The pricing isn't cheap, but after seeing what goes into doing this well... (the operational overhead, the QA expertise, the infrastructure)... I'm pretty confident we'd spend more trying to replicate this internally and probably do a worse job. So even that's not really a complaint. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
As a very small business, we have very limited resources for dedicated E2E test engineers and infrastructure. We backed ourselves into a corner of putting off the need for a long time, and never being able to prioritize setting up our own infrastructure. Working with QAWolf took that load off our plate: They were able to work with non-technical members of our team to glean enough information to define core pathway tests across our apps, and established strong baseline coverage.
They've been attentive learning the specifics of our app and subject domain. They write good tests, and their presence in our Slack and integration with JIRA means their day-to-day test runs are first-class parts of our team's workflow.
They are also really attentive: Their amazing customer success folk are in regular contact, actually push us to make sure we meet regularly and are getting the good value from their service. They let us know when we've got unused test budget in our account, and seek out ways to have their team define new tests on their own. They've been receptive to technical requests and integration ideas we want to pursue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It's important to think of a service like QAWolf as a multiplier, rather than a magic-bullet. You do need to be able to support them with infrastructure access, insight into your product updates, and work with them to debug test failures — they can't do it all! You're getting an amazing team in support of your work, you do need to support them just as you would anyone who works for you. That's perhaps less of a “dislike” about them so much as realistic framing for what you can expect based on what your team can support. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We don't have to keep an eye on the tests as they let us know when something is wrong, they listen to feedback and work with us to build tests as we need them.
Tests are reliable, they're website it's great for information of the tests, tests are easy to read and find, easy to run. And also the people from QA Wolf are very pleasant to work with, from devs to account manager everyone is really nice and easy going, great place! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Sometimes there has been duplicated tests, we need to keep an eye for them.
they don't have coverage for all devices as they're still looking into it, but it's not a turn off. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QAWolf has an entire team dedicated to writing and maintaining end-to-end tests for your application and, from my experience, the team doesn't need a lot of hand-holding to get up to speed writing test cases. When failures happen, the team is quick to respond and update tests or alert the team about a breaking change. The tests seem to be reliable and execute quickly so there isn't wasted time investigating flaky tests or waiting for slow workflows. If you decide to stop using QAWolf, you can also take the tests cases from their dashboard and integrate them into your application yourself. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only thing I dislike about QAWolf is that the tests are managed by someone else. Of course, this is also a benefit, however I do think that actively building and maintaining your tests gives you a better picture of your software as a whole. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What I like best about QA Wolf is their ability to streamline the testing process while maintaining high-quality results. The platform is incredibly user-friendly, making it easy for both technical and non-technical team members to run. I especially appreciate the robust documentation and responsive support team, which ensures that any questions or challenges are quickly addressed. Additionally, QA Wolf's ability to automate tests and integrate seamlessly with our development pipeline has saved us countless hours, allowing us to focus more on building features and less on testing. Overall, it’s a reliable and efficient solution that significantly improves the speed and quality of our product releases. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It would be helpful to have more detailed logs to view the validation information. Despite these small things, QA Wolf remains a strong and effective solution for most testing needs. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QA Wolf takes care of the foundational E2E test coverage so our team doesn’t have to spend time writing and maintaining repetitive tests. I especially like how hands-off it is—the tests just run in the background and catch regressions without us needing to think about them. Their communication is fast and clear—we get notified quickly when something breaks, which helps us respond before it becomes a bigger issue. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The only real challenge we’ve faced is around pricing. As our test suite grew, we eventually hit our budget limit and couldn’t add more coverage beyond what was already in place. It would be nice to have a bit more flexibility or scalable options as needs evolve, especially for growing teams. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

A bit pricey when you want to get fully exhaustive with your test suites, or need to test on multiple regions/environments Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

QA Wolf has enabled us to automatically run an exhaustive test suite to ensure the releases we build are really ready for the public, and that the changes don't introduce serious regressions. I love how it integrates with Asana and Slack so that we can get the most up to date results right into our workflows. The dashboard where I can monitor the number of tests passing or failing is super helpful. The QA Wolf team is so responsive, understands our business so well, and has really built tools that help us ensure a high product quality. We have great communication that ensures that when we make changes, our tests are maintained and updated promptly. I honestly don't think I could launch another product without using them from the get-go. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I like everything about QA Wolf and can't think of anything I would change!! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Working as an SDET at Autotrader.ca, I've had the pleasure of collaborating with QA Wolf, and it's been a game-changer for our QA process. Here's how they've made a difference:
Seamless Test Automation: I write manual test cases, send them over to QA Wolf, and their automation team turns them into automated scripts. The best part? They send back these scripts with step-by-step video walkthroughs, making it super easy to follow along and ensure everything's spot on.
More Time for Manual Testing: With QA Wolf handling the automation, I can focus on manually testing new features for each release. This means I can dive deeper into exploratory testing and write more detailed test cases, knowing that the automation is in good hands.
Smooth Integration: They've integrated the automated tests into our release pipeline. So, every time there's a new build in the QA environment, the test suites run automatically and alert us to any broken functionalities. Plus, they run sanity tests in production after each deployment, adding an extra layer of confidence.
Proactive Bug Reporting: If something breaks, QA Wolf doesn't just flag it; they provide detailed bug reports. This proactive approach helps us address issues swiftly and maintain the quality of our product.
In a nutshell, QA Wolf has been an invaluable partner, streamlining our QA process and allowing us to focus on delivering top-notch features to our users. Their support has truly elevated our testing game. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Honestly I couldn't find one thing that I dislike about QA wolf. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The QA Wolf team are excellent comunicators. They are proactive in keeping up to date with our product changes and any test failures, and very understanding of our situation. They are very quick to respond to any queries, and commit lots of time to helping us when we ask them to. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Test workflows can't be run in parallel, and can be slow when tests span multiple devices (e.g. switching between web and mobile). Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
