Proofpoint has room for complaints. Their providing stands out by serving its intended purpose. There were some problems during the systems implementation those have been. There are difficulties when installing functions due to compatibility issues the softwares complexity is justified by the support it provides for networks. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Despite a filter causing delays in testing software. There have been upgrades and noticeable improvements in the four years. The setup process is time consuming. Customization options are limited. I used sendmail and that is best for business tool. Also this can give ability to send email from inbuilt language's mail functional. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

In AWS their ec2 instance has blocked port 25. There is not any possibility to send mail from other port or I didn't find any solution for those. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Proofpoint Sendmail Open Source?
It was super easy to switch over from an alternate system. The storage and customer service are much better than the previous platform we used. It is a secure way to keep everyone connected and organized in our facility. we have all been very happy. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
What do you dislike about Proofpoint Sendmail Open Source?
upon start up we did have some difficulty navigating the initiation of the system. Setting individual passwords was a little bit complicated as some of the links emailed to us did not work. Now that all the kinks are worked out it has been running smoothly. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
