What do you dislike about reqSuite® rm?

Some issues with the screen resolution. Minor issue that the responsible person for each requirement is not fixed and sometimes changes depending on the requirement state and user account rights (but this is already being worked on by Osseno for a future update) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about reqSuite® rm?

ReqSuite is an easy-to-use and easy-to-understand requirements management tool that systematically guides us through the requirements and the necessary links to tests/verifications and the like. For example, we can see at a glance whether any tests/verifications are missing, etc. This ensures end-to-end traceability. It serves as a ‘single source of truth’ for us and enables us to reliably analyse the impact of possible changes for the first time. The ability to reuse requirements in other development projects is also enormously helpful for us and has a positive impact on development speed.

It is incredibly valuable that we as the admin have the flexibility to design the layout for a project as we need it. The entire user interface, apart from the very good functionality of the tool, can be customised according to the needs of the stakeholders.

The role and rights management is very powerful and also enables us to guarantee external parties (such as suppliers) targeted access to certain data, so that ReqSuite offers us optimum conditions for working together on a project. And should it ever be necessary to export the data to Word or Excel templates (e.g. specifications) in line with stakeholder requirements, this is also possible at the touch of a button. This is a huge relief for us.

Another advantage is that ReqSuite can only be operated via a browser interface and does not create any unnecessary hurdles, which benefits user acceptance. As an internationally active company, we can also work optimally with our colleagues in other countries in ReqSuite.

Furthermore, access to the learning units with very good explanatory videos on the subject of configuration, administration of the tool or best practice tips on the subject of requirements management is helpful.

What do you like best about reqSuite® rm?

We are using ReqSuite daily since around two years in several Development Projects.

The onbording phase was extremly helpful for us to understand the Tool and the flexible configuration possibiltys.

For our internal Stakholder is ReqSuite an easy to use and an easy to understanding Requirement Tool.

As Admin we have the flexibility to set the layout for an proejct as we need. The whole Gui, except the very good tool funcionality, can be set as needed. In some months of implementation phase we had very good support to installing reqSuite on our own server and to configure the Templates for our needs.

The big benefit is the only browser interface, this makes ReqSuite easy to deploy and sets no unnecessary hurdles which helps with user acceptance.

There are several interfaces to mutiple tools possible, we had cheked it with Testrail, ldap server, Jira, Enterprise Architect and a secound ReqSuite instance.

Our Technical problems as well as questions regarding the use of the poweful modeling functionality are always answered and solved quickly by the friendly, compenent and always helpful customer support.

The export functions are very helpful for us to fulfil the neds of an Traceabilty Matrix or individuel Word and Excel Templates.

What do you like best about reqSuite® rm?

The ability to quickly and easily tailor the structure of your requirements, create the object types and relationships that fit your project(s) is fantastic . Of course you can use things out of the box if that works for you too, but if you want to rename, remodel or replace anything, you can!

The support is also first rate, onboarding was simple and we had all the help we needed getting started including a first pass at the structure we were looking for, giving us a good starting point to learn and adapt. Regular catch-up calls enabled us to learn at our own pace and discuss what we were trying to achieve and why, to collaboratively come up with the answers.

What do you dislike about reqSuite® rm?

With flexibility there is always the risk of complication, and often there are two different ways to achieve a similar outcome, so you need to be prepared to put some time and effort into this to get the most out of the tool. This does present a bit more of a learning curve right at the start if you are going to tailor things to your own way of working.

Occasionally there is a feature you might expect to be present as a basic need, but they are keen to take on board feedback for improvements and are actively developing - plus the ability to modify structures so easily means a workaround is usually simple in the short term. - Osseno is very supportive and they do quickly respond to queries

- Weekly Q/A meeting to discuss improvement or questions

- The tool is easy to use and Osseno will support you in creating the project templates

- Detailed training are available online that shows the best practices and how to structure your project

- There at least 4 new releases of reqsuite per year with new features
