ReqSuite® RM is available with named and floating (concurrent) licenses. Most customers use a mixture of both. The software can be purchased once (perpetual) or used as part of a subscription. The ability to quickly and easily tailor the structure of your requirements, create the object types and relationships that fit your project(s) is fantastic . Of course you can use things out of the box if that works for you too, but if you want to rename, remodel or replace anything, you can!
The support is also first rate, onboarding was simple and we had all the help we needed getting started including a first pass at the structure we were looking for, giving us a good starting point to learn and adapt. Regular catch-up calls enabled us to learn at our own pace and discuss what we were trying to achieve and why, to collaboratively come up with the answers.

With flexibility there is always the risk of complication, and often there are two different ways to achieve a similar outcome, so you need to be prepared to put some time and effort into this to get the most out of the tool. This does present a bit more of a learning curve right at the start if you are going to tailor things to your own way of working.
Occasionally there is a feature you might expect to be present as a basic need, but they are keen to take on board feedback for improvements and are actively developing - plus the ability to modify structures so easily means a workaround is usually simple in the short term.
