What do you like best about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

Very Easy to provision ; Just some few clicks you can provision the service ; after provisioning you can make analytics data , chart , graphical presentation , Dashboard analysis report , Multiple narrative chart can easily deploy ; The most beautiful part it is , you can create the analysis report by using any source of data , like your Cloud database, from excel sheet , or any other third party DB source data can be deploy ; in the analysis field you will have to just Drag and Drop the data and the analysis will automatically create ; you can make then data model and will find a presentation layer model where you will drag the data to the visualization section and it will give you the graphical presentation as per your chosen parameter . you can filter the data with this analysis option .

What do you dislike about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

Sometime the response time is slow because of network interference , as it is cloud so the large size of DB can take a long time to create a data model ; in Autonomous analytics only support from Cloud database (paas service) but you can import data from your desktop , can not connect your on premises database , in that case you will have use desktop version. What problems is Oracle Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We have connect our cloud database to the autonomous analytics and make Sales data model, purchase Module table to another data model and we have created the Sales dashboard and analysis report ; Our management easily visualize in which Division our product sale rate is high and which division is low , also management can visualize in which division the collection rate is perfect and in region the Due rate is alarming ; also in purchase analysis they are monitoring in which category of raw materials import rate and ratio is high in which category of materials purchase rate is low , in which month how much cost will impact on particular purchase item , etc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The issue with OAC that I find most is that when finding bugs/opening SRs the response time to these issues are now always the quickest. Multiple releases between fixes sometimes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What problems is Oracle Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

We are migrating from OBIEE on prem to OAC. The users are continuing to go through the process of testing their OBIEE queries against what is in OAC. There are some minor formatting errors for columns that we are fixing for the users that will allow them to see the reports in the manner they did in OBIEE. What do you like best about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

I liked oracle's cloud platforms performace for this Business Inteligence purpose inorder to handle all business transaction process, PO, PR, Shipment tracking etc. It helped a lot in doing analysis with the business transaction to maintain a proper tracking of all transations and It provides reports as well to show up the analysis. What do you dislike about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

There is nothing to dislike on this oracle cloud platform in my point of view. I felt nothing on performace lag on analysis and data base side as well. It includes poerfect DB configuration with Indexes to store and fetch the transational data for entire ERP system what we have configured on this cloud platform. Compared with previous systems what every IT industry used to provide to business to do the ERP system and analysis this Oracle cloud has secured DB config and its quit not easy to find out the relationship between transational tables but Once you get to know the relationship you can do a lot of analysis with the transational data to enhance the business growth. Used to handle business transations and its analysis to maintain the business on the growth levels and it helps to monitor the transation by providing the analysis in the form of reports and those reports as well editable based on the new requirement whenever business comes up with. What do you like best about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

Compared to BIP and VBCS, it gives more features to implement as a developer, and third-party applications can also be incorporated. Along with developer users can also build analysis reports as it's UI is user friendly no much technical knowledge is required for a simple analysis to build. What do you dislike about Oracle Analytics Cloud?

Getting data from Fusion is a little hassle; currently we are using ATP (Autonomous Transaction Process) and Data sync to get the fusion data, using this ATP DB to build a custom query. There are other ways, but in our project we are following this process and we are yet to discover on the other options. ADW, BICC are there but for a beginner it's little complex. What problems is Oracle Analytics Cloud solving and how is that benefiting you?

Using OTBI/BI, we were not able to build a custom report where we were getting data from VBCS application for that we used a ATP DB where the VBCS data is inserted and using this data and data from Fusion through datasync in ATP we built custom queries for our analysis. These queries are used in the OAC to create custom subject area and business modeling. This way our issue of merging fusion n VBCS data is resolved. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
