"Metalogix Content Matrix - Great and Easy Tool to Use On-Premises"
What do you like best about Metalogix Content Matrix?

Interface is easy to use, with a classic 2 window style where you can separate your source and your target. There are a variety of connections that can be used, which are important if you want metadata to be saved during the migration. There is also mapping available for fields and users and a lot of other things. The options are easy enough to learn quickly, and the copy modes are intuitive as well so you know what you are trying to copy or migrate. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Metalogix Content Matrix?

Migrating to SharePoint Online is really slow. It took a vanilla site of less than 1 GB a full day to migrate. It could be because the connectors being used to connect to the cloud are outdated, but I am not 100% sure. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Nice tool to migrtae content from onpremise to online, requires bit of configuration like installing MEWS (Metalogix extension web ervice) to connect onpremise to online Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

tool fails with large list items, migrating taxonomy is also issue. sometimes it gets hung and you need to stop and migrate again Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

This software makes migrating SharePoint content effortless. It's great that the metadata comes with the items and versioning, last editor and last update remains intact. We've used it for years and have always been satisfied. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
