It's hard to find someone who really knows and use it nowadays.

IBM Db2 is a very useful Database Server for Business Applications having large data, ERP Applications, Tax Calculations etc. It is very efficient to use as it is reliable, scalable, manageable, easy to debug(having advanced debugging options), Query Analysis, Query Optimization. We are using db2 on daily basis in the retirement domain to store and access the data secuarly. The front view tool which is provided on top of db2 i.e. IBM data client studio or AQT is the best to deal with db2. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The queries are simple in it. Working isn't that complex on this DB. The best feature of this platform is compatibility with other ETL tools. Its organizational skills are the best. Export required results so that we can see which contacts are performing specific behavior and action combinations. I think the best way to get this working is by creating a subset of the original table. It can be associated with the cloud and operating systems. What do you dislike about IBM Db2?

Should be more like Teradata. This will enhance the query quality and the work on loading becomes easy. BM is really behind in delivering developer tools. They pride themselves on Data Studio, but it is just frustrating. Google search for it is horrible. Slower than the competition for other tools. Licensing is expensive for the industry. It's not a multi-faceted tool (multiple secondary nodes or cluster without additional software purchases; in some cases third-party tools. This drastically increases your overall capital investment.) It includes a bigger space to be downloaded which can range from single GB to multi GB range. Support for DB change is very hard. Data porting and migration from existing legacy applications is quick and easy.
