41 Higharc Reviews

I find Higharc to be most helpful due to its interactiveness, organization, and ease of use. The organization of Higharc makes it easier to learn as well as locate different settings/options. The usability of the entire interface also contributes to how interactive and organized the entire system is. Once I understood how the CDM and studio files worked it made things more simplified and quicker to design. Integrating between different studio files has also been very simple because of the loading time being so quick. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I haven't gotten into much detail with Higharc, however, when I would work on training from home, my browser lagged quite a bit which made it had to focus. Other times I have wished that the layer setting "interior dimensions" were not fixed and could be moved by endpoints or some other feature. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The potential to integrate various aspects of business into a cohesive process is beyond tantalizing. Construction as an industry has always been slow to adopt modern technology. Higharc has the potential to revolutionize how homes are sold and built. It has laid the foundation for building something truly innovative and seamless. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Weak takeoffs. Poor client management. And no clear solution for the processes that either lead into or lead out of Higharc. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Higharc brings a centralized data approach to residential construction. The central data model eliminates the possibilities of differences between marketing, design, and construction documents. Let the customer configure their home plan options, look at it in 3D, then get immediate construction documents. The interface for the customer is fantastic.
Customer support is good. Very attentive. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Expect 6+ months for plans to be in production in a showroom environment, possibly longer than that for construction documents. Their Procure (estimating) product is the newest portion of the system and doesn't do roof systems yet. (But will.) Cost is on another level. However, there is no competitor in the market that can do everything that Higharc can do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Unlike our other experiences with onboarding new technology, the HighArc team has been excellent in their communication of timelines and meeting those timelines. With their help we are in the process of the fastest community launch we've ever had. We just got a look at our first configurable model and are extremely pleased and excited about its marketing power. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Nothing as of yet. As stated we're still in the beginning of our journey but very optimistic. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful thing has been the Higharc team. I have used many 3-D software programs before, and they all have their positives and negatives. The thing about Higharc that makes it shine above the others is that when issues do come up, the Higharc team is very responsive and helpful in working out a solution. I would like more of an ability to customize the user interface, like AutoCAD and other software offers. We are not fully implemented yet, so other items might come up, but this is the biggest thing so far. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The quick way to draw a floorplan. We like how it is more that just a plan, but a new way of designing and building homes with procure, studio and being able to produce bill of materials. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There is a LOT to learn and I still need to figure a lot out, but it will come in time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

-Higharc provides accuracy and consistency through all stages of the home building process. Everyone from marketing and sales to construction can access specific home information in a matter of a few clicks.
-The dashboard is well organized and easy to use. No other drafting platform can organize options, community information and lot details like Higharc does.
-Automation within the studio files saves so much time and eliminates monotonous drafting repetition.
-Implementing and communicating changes/updates within minutes to all users.
-Support from the Higharc team
-Future features and vision Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The amount of time to train new users to really understand the entire platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Flexibility to provide structural options to customers in a highly visual way and to allow for dynamic pricing based upon the selections made by customers. In addition the team at Higharc has been outstanding to work with and care about providing a solution that meets the needs of their customers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It is a work in progress and does not have the history of years of development like a Autocad / Revit platform does. They are making progress, however, there are still many gaps and improvements that will be needed to be as robust as platforms that have been around a long time. However, the benefits of the platform far far outweigh the weaknesses. Also, they are constantly adding to the platform on a weekly basis addressing issues and adding features. I am brand new to Higharc but in the matter of two hours was able to get myself trained and the sales team trained on how customers and staff would interface with the software in the sales process. Also appreciate the ability to control what level of details are displayed for public facing interfaces (i.e. website) vs what can be displayed for private customer appointments.
Higharc has bas been very timely and responsive through the whole implementation process. When implementing custom models there are always unique challenges -- Higharc has been very collaborative and fast in addressing those challenges Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Only complaint is the UX design and interface is a bit dated when it comes to the visuals and color schemes. Just a visual thing - the experience is still really good. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The most helpful thing about HighArc is the ability to create multiple elevation styles of one floorplan in one central location as one file.
The upsides to using HighArc I think will be the ability to add more options and make all the options viewable in 3D for our buyers. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The least helpful thing about HighArc is how different it is from setting up a simple house plan compared to something like AutoCAD with simple lines. HighArc uses layouts that I am just learing how to use but it is not as straight forward as a simple line drawing. I am not sure if I know what the downsides of using HighArc are yet since I have not had a chance to dive into it too much. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
