4 month before i don't know anything about competitive programming and form that point i stated using hackerearth and now i am able to crack most of the hiring challenges>hackerearth is good for beginner to expert level . I mostly like the level of questions and the interface of hackerearth. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Hackerearth should provide the solution of the questions after the end of the competetition so that we can learn a new way of doing the same question. Also hackerearth should have questions domain wise. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The approach here is simple and starts with the basics and slowly you get to advance with the complex topics as well and also a huge number of competitions and hiring challenges are available here which can be used to be the stepping stones in your career path. Nothing as such , they are improving every feature of theirs . I had an issue previously with the delayed declaration of the results of one of the hackathons but hackerearth was not responsible for it actually it was the organizers who had taken time in evaluating all the results . But hackerearth team was very prompt and responsive in guiding me through all this which i appreciate the most. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that so many contests and hackathons keep going on, on hackerearth is really great. Almost always there is some way for a person to engage himself/herself on hackerearth- be it programming contests or a hackathon or some hiring challenge. I personally find the concept of declaring a weekly leader as a really great way of keeping people motivated. I started my coding journey with the practice section of hackerearth and it has been a really great learning experience. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The fact that many problems do not have editorials or many problems have some fault in their test cases is surely disheartening, I have sometimes spent a lot of time on problems with incorrect cases and no editorials. Also when setting problems with the recruiter panel of hackerearth there are issues with the leaderboard, though this didn't happen often. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best part of HACKEREARTH is that it provides people to get the jobs . HACKEREARTH conducts the online programming rounds for many companies and then they share the details of the top performers with the companies . Companies prefers to choose HACKEREARTH for their online programming rounds because this helps them to recruit the best candidates for their company and also their work is reduced as they don't need to go to colleges one by one . HACKEREARTH also provides the opportunities to the students to get interviewed with the top notch companies by performing well in their programming rounds and by meeting the required eligibility conditions.
HACKEREARTH is also the place where you can come to know about the various hackathons going in and out of the country . Many top notch companies prefers to host their team formation and idea submission round on the HACKEREARTH because of the large community of developers being active on HACKEREARTH .
Last but not the least , HACKEREARTH also provides sufficient material to learn the programming concepts in a very sequential and systematic manner and moreover they provide the questions to practice to enhance the concepts.
I would highly recommend to try the "code monk" challenge on HACKEREARTH ,it covers each and every concept of DATA STRUCTURES AND ALGORITHMS in a very sequential manner along with the practice questions. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
There are some challenges which are not made public .
Also the HACKEREARTH coding questions don't have the effective editorials in compared with other programming websites. On the name of editorial ,they simply share the code without any explanation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
HackerEarth provides us a easy to understand interface with all the facilities a newbie coder as well as a well trained programmer needs to achieve his/her goal. I always recommend it to all my juniors and batchmates for competitive coding, challenges and hackathons too. I also used other platforms but neither of them have all such features that HackerEarth provides along with a well defined interface. It also encourages students to learn, code and apply the same. Well I never thought any negativity about HackerEarth as i never really got any issue in any part of it. If I think of what i dislike is the reminders sometimes useless ones too. Other than this there is no such issue with HackerEarth that I dislike. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The best feature I like about HackerEarth is an integrated platform for both Competitive Programmers and Developers where one can practice programming questions for company's coding round preparation for internships and placements. Also one can actually enhance his/her CV by taking part in the national level Hackathons and coding events which helps to analyse the strengths and weaknesses. I believe no other platform in the country provides all the three features simultaneously. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have only one thing from HackerEarth, that is the repetitive reminders for any event or contest.I know that eventually it is useful for me only but I believe one alert or remainder is more than enough as repetitive reminders often lead to frustration or probably disabling the service. Other than that I have no issues from the platform. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
* The platform that is built for a person who doesn't know anything about the coding challenges.
* Platform provided for encouraging students and learn coding with fun.
* And many more things that are good compare to other platform.
* All in one platform like u can develop softskills, competitive programming, hackathon, aptitude, etc.,

* Lagging in conducting meetup based on the competitive programming which would have been a great initiative from the hackerearth community.
* Lack of guiding students with a automated chatbot who ever is new to coding.
* Lack in providing the tutorials for the beginners for a support which would have attracted the users to use this platform frequently.
* Providing tutorials in developing game modules , web development, CRM , and many more will be more effective for the upcoming generations.

The best part about HackerEarth is that it provides a lot of job/internship opportunities for students.
It provides quality problems to increase our coding and problem analyzing skills.
As they provide a lot of categories, it helps in choosing from where to start. If you are new to coding you can try the very-easy questions and if not then you can attempt the higher difficulties. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
In some of the questions, the problem statement is difficult to understand. Sometimes it takes a lot of time just to understand it, and in some cases it is not at all cleared what we have to do in that specific question. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
All the corner test cases covered by it. Only accept optimal solution. If Solution is not optimal then it gives partial marking. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
From technical aspect there is nothing i can say.
But yes view of hacker earth can be changed. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything, The Challenges, The Competitions, The Hackathons, UI & Everything. I referred Hackerearth to all my colleagues and friends a few months ago who want to develop new and amazing skills like Competetive Programming, The Competitions, and challenges to grow exponentially.
And Guess what they are doing it really well through hackerearth & gained so much skill and potential. So this what I liked about the Hackerearth . And I Want to say "Just Keep Going even If you fail"... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I guess there are not any downsides using Hackerearth but sometimes I found it to be having less categories of problems or you can say levels of solving problems. But otherwise, it is "THE BEST". Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
