There are so many aspects of DBVisualizer to highlight. If I had to pick one aspect, it's the incredible flexibility to use it with just about any data source. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have no dislikes when using DBVisualizer Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

We have been using DbVisualizer for more than 10 years and have the opportunity to see this tool evolving and getting more robust and with greater functionalities. It looks for me that DbVis team is really analyzing UX and well responding to users requirements with consequent releases. Some of the improvements may look very simple (like 'Copy Selection as Comma List' or 'Copy Selection as IN clause', or exporting to spreadsheet, or viewing DB processes, or searching through SQL commands history) but they improve everyday work significantly. There were some memory leakages in early versions, or updating the tool was cumbersome, but now it's hard to find. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

The one DB tool that does it all.
Very easy to setup a database connection.
Awesome that one can just export the connections and other info for use on a reinstall etc.

Use it every single day.
Great that it starts supporting mongo db. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
It can be a little heavy on memory usage. Not the best at retrieving massive datasets. This is really nit picking....
Seen some issues on linux when resizing on a 2nd monitor. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DbVisualizer makes managing multiple databases a breeze. I use it almost daily for different tasks, from ALTERs to analytics. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The Java UI feels a bit clunky compared with native software. With the latest version DBVis sometimes freezes in the middle of writing a query because it's "Caching tables...". I use VSCode with Github Copilot for other coding tasks and the lack of AI integration in DBVis makes it seem a bit antiquated. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Connectivity to many databases, filtering options, SQL formatting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
DBVIS does not recognize WSL directories for opening and storing sql files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I love the simple way of interacting with the data. I find DBVis the best program to directly add/remove/alter Data in Databases. This is very handy in early development etc.
Furthermore, I love thet it integrates with mostly all Database types.

I love the ability to connect to all of our differnet DBMS via one similar GUI.
Very much customizeable in any terms.
If it is an iSeries DB, MS SQL or MariaDB doesnt matter so much since I use it.
Sorting scripts in folders and bookmarks is the next plus for me.
I even like the customizable export functions very much.
