DbVisualizer works with a lot of Database types - PostgreSQL, Informix, MariaDB, Oracle and so on. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Can be resource-heavy on less powerful systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Everything that I want to do is achievable with a simple click of a button. Other software requires custom code or extensions. For example, to export your results into an Excel document using this software is a single click! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The interface could be simpler to use and more intuitive. I will google how to do something in the software if I haven't tried it before. Everything I want to do is found using a quick google search and review of the help documents. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

One view for all, connections, commands, results, well designed and organized! Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None to dislike, but a little complaint is a bit slow to start application, but isn't a problem. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Having used DbVisualizer for 10+ years now, I really enjoy the slick GUI as well as making my work with databases more efficient Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
The default set up with comments not being automatically stripped out when using -- or // and that this needs to be configured in order to work Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

Compatibility with any database, strong editor features, nice/useful monitor module, cmd line interface with a few dedicated command, good import/export modules, frequent patch releases, drivers management, good support even with the lower license model Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
Lack of some (minor) db-system commands, settings for import/export cannot be (until now) fully saved, some limitation in sharing the same settings among users Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I have been using DbVisualizer for years... Great product at a great cost! Tools are very easy to use, they are always updating for functionality as well as cosmetically. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
I honestly can NOT think of any dislikes... Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
My company has a diverse set of systems for IT, Finance, Forecasting, and Manufacturing and we use multiple databases from Oracle, Microsoft SQL Server, MySQL, PostgreSQL, AS/400 DB2, Sparks, etc. DBVisualizer allows me to quickly connect to these databases and do any data manipulation I need to do for my work. I need to do integration work frequently and the first tool I start with has always been DBVisualizer. The best features for me are its easy-to-understand menu system and the diverse output options it supports. I use it daily to extract the data I need from one system and integrate them with other systems. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
None that I can think of. DBVisualizer has been great. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
