What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

It provides much more security than any current DNS server, the cost of the features is free, and the basic ones themselves are very comprehensive features. What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

At CloudFlare, I like the convenient interface for managing all domain settings.

At CloudFlare, I like the fact that I can get a free SSL certificate for domain names.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

I don't like the fact that when using the service, I don't have the opportunity to create templates for the configuration.

For example, I add five MX records to almost every domain.

I would like to be able to create a configuration template to add five MX records with a single click.

I also don't like the fact that I can't switch between accounts. First, I need to log out of the account and then log into another account. It would be convenient to use the ability to switch accounts, like in Google.

I also don't like the fact that in one account I am connected to specific DNS servers. Therefore, I can't choose a DNS server. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Cloudflare, is an exceptional tool, to avoid all types of DDOS attacks, by hackers, who try to steal information from different websites, this tool is a protection that cannot be missing in any website, navigation in the sites where cloudflare is applied to improve their performance enormously, when there are attacks that try to knock down the websites, they become slow, and difficult to access, with this tool, the websites are kept online, despite any attempt to attack, cloudflare sends constant notifications of possible attacks to the websites, which helps to maintain a monitoring of these, and to avoid possible falls. What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

There are usually some falls of cloudflare protection service, sometimes during the year, I noticed that this type of falls, are random, and I do not understand what they are, but they are solved quickly, although they are still a vulnerability on the website where it has been installed, so this is something that should not happen, when full and constant protection is required. Its ease of use, it is fast and easy for most basic tasks, especially in the initial setup. It is free, no prior knowledge is required before starting to configure the DNS server, it has a large database, which in addition to that has excellent security features. The interface for managing DNS records is the best in the market. Very useful for software companies as we have many micro-services inside our product.

We don't often use CDN as Russian government nowadays bans some public IPs of Cloudflare. But there CDN saves a lot of traffic for out other projects and has free SSL on top of it.

Many plugins which help you improve the performance of a website are very convenient to have as well.

Plans start from $0 so its absolute steal.

Although Domain providers will provide DNS Management Cloudflare is the best destination to maintain them.

Auto Minify - Cache and minification fecility will boost up our website speed.

Some server will have more responsive time. But with this we can manage it .

By using this we can hide our original IP address / nameservers to protect from hackers.

Firewall protects most of the attacks.

IP/Country Block - for protecting from frequent attacks etc.

Enable Accelerated Mobile Links for AMP Pages.

Bandwidth - we can Monitor Bandwidth usage. Cloudflare cache will save most of our bandwidth.

Page Rules - 3 are for free accounts.

Speed - Cloudflare updating its service based on global updates and giving best option for best performance and fast loading of the websites.

What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

We implemented Cloudflare 3 years ago as our CDN and DNS provider. Till today we haven't noticed any downtime anymore on our websites. The network is very fast and has a lot of bandwidth in case of a ddos attack. We use the caching mechanism to speed up the websites. A few serious prevented DDoS attacks is kind of standard for their service,what should be admitted is for example the biggest advantage of Cloudflare definitely for us -the ability to point nameservers to their own as ideal solution to managing DNS at all,especially page rules seems to be very helpful,while moving out website's locations quite often.Also image optimization's system,which drastically reduce our file sizes is worth of attention as well,since improved overall speed a lot(both aspect's are really important at our niche,when it comes to elements of element's of behaviour our targeted group). There is or was a small issue in their new billing system,related to lack of notifications of expiring subscription,what's makes us a few problems within 6 days,since support response is extremely slow,when it comes to low or medium ticket's. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
