"Most Reliable cloud security provider"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

CloudFlare is a gem for me, it has free domain dns management, issue of free SSL certificates, proxied connection, caching of static files, has a great collection of content delivery network, saves my side from DDoS and other security threats everyday. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

It does not have any dedicated customer care service for free users. Although, free users can use cloudflare community to solve their issues. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Protect malicious or fishing emails"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

This catches malicious emails before they ever reach the users' inboxes and takes the responsibility of knowing if the emails are dangerous or not away from my users. As we are busy, we don't have time to inspect every email before taking action. I like that the emails are quarantined, and I can review them and release them if they are not really malicious. I also like, that this enables us monitor threats in real time. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

The dashboard can be more simplified. Also, wish it were a little easier to navigate. I sometimes have a hard time remembering how to get to certain places within the program that require you to click on multiple menus. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Reliable and effective security with great performance improvements"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Cloudflare offers strong DDoS protection, intelligent traffic filtering, and performance boosts like caching and CDN, which makes my websites load faster even from Nepal. Its dashboard is intuitive and easy to use, and the free tier is very generous for small users. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Sometimes the rules and firewall settings can be a bit complex, especially when dealing with custom configurations. Also, their customer support response time for free-tier users is slow, and some premium features are a bit expensive for users in developing countries. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Robust Web App Security and Performance with Cloudflar"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

What I Like Best About Cloudflare Application Security and Performance:

Cloudflare offers a powerful combination of security and performance optimization in a single, easy-to-deploy platform. What stands out most is:

Integrated Web Application Firewall (WAF): The WAF is highly effective at blocking OWASP Top 10 threats and automated attacks with minimal tuning, and it includes preconfigured managed rules that are frequently updated.

DDoS Protection at the Edge: Cloudflare automatically mitigates large-scale DDoS attacks without impacting latency or requiring manual intervention, thanks to its globally distributed Anycast network.

Bot Management: The bot protection capabilities are intelligent and accurate, reducing false positives while stopping credential stuffing, scraping, and other malicious automation.

Performance Gains via CDN and Argo Smart Routing: Cloudflare significantly boosts website performance by caching content at the edge and intelligently routing traffic using Argo, which reduces latency and packet loss.

Ease of Use and Scalability: It’s very simple to configure through an intuitive dashboard, and it scales seamlessly across multiple applications and geographies without the need for additional infrastructure.

Zero Trust Security Integration: Cloudflare integrates natively with Zero Trust principles (e.g., secure access, identity-based controls), making it ideal for modern, distributed workforces and apps. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

What I Dislike About Cloudflare Application Security and Performance:

While Cloudflare delivers strong value overall, a few areas could be improved:

False Positives in Bot Management: Although bot mitigation is strong, there can be occasional false positives that impact legitimate users or scripts, requiring manual adjustments and whitelisting.

Dependency on DNS Changes: Since Cloudflare operates as a reverse proxy, it requires DNS to be pointed to its servers, which can be a barrier or risk during migration or troubleshooting. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Easy registrar switching, free entry level site speed proxying DNS switching"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Fairly intuitive usage; Many accounts held under one login

No Web or Email hosting but comprehensive secure proxying of outside sites, emails and web sites with extensive rules and security-

In particular 'turnstile' web script security is very easy to integrate and use with any domains registered AT COST through Cloudlfare.

'next tier' optimization of images and content will cost but the fee intro level does a LOT while you familarise with their naming and layout of controls

Oh and great statitics for all web email & DNS proxyingl All easy to readily turn on & off. The Proxying is close to being tranparent!

Even the lowest level of web hosting gets a huge boost trhough CLodflare- there is even a 'site down' caching option though I think this costs.

There is a great 'under attack' option if hit by DOS attack

& CLoudlfare has hit the News oftentimes

for its mitigatin of such attacks. I am a small user (20 domains)

of a vast sytem but it's quite manageable all things considered)

I switched here from Google Domains after they sold off to SquareSpace. a Good Move and easy to do. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Cloudflare naming of services I find confusing

Zero Trust * R2 * Workers * will take boning-up to understand properly

as representing things in my 'real' world.

UNABLE so far to delegate domain registrations to their respectve owners so they can pay the registration themselves.

I am told there IS a way using the API keys but it looks Complex for me, at any rate, so I just pass the costs along.

There is SOME Delegation possible for different features but the terminology and purpose will take a lot of trial and error (IE creating the 'delegated' Log In in another Browser to see what it's allowed to do!)

Obviouly CloudFlare is meant for major enterprises with plenty of to me confusing settings- I have stuck to the basics at no cost beyond name registration and a few services, and am quite happy.

If I even get a six digit Web/Security contract?

This is where I will go : ) Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Best CDN to start with. Good Features and Pricing"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

It's a pretty easy to integrate and use. This also includes a vital role in increasing the Perfromance of the product ( websites ). As per me It's Freemium plans offers a variety of Good features and statistics to be better to start with. Their dahsboard are quite user-friendly and efficient. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

The major where i get disappointed that some of the features that should come with some plan in a less price range or may be to a certain extent as a free. Sometime also required some technical expertise for the service that are getting included with this. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Horrible Support and Billing - They run with your money and don't care to get billing correct"
What do you like best about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Ease of deployment, dashboard and configurations for the WAF, Cache, and other features are top tier with ease, settings, and logging. Just don't have an issue with them or you're on your own. Also, don't keep a credit card on file or they'll bill you for their mistakes. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Cloudflare Application Security and Performance?

Customer support and billing. Their support does not read what you have to say but rather comes in with their own interpretation of what has happened and forces their views on your issue rather than trying to understand exactly what is happening. On two occassions in the last few months I have had this happen when I encountered an issue with the core product and their billing.

The billing should be detailed further as it is sketchy business practices. Back in April they changed their billing software and charged me incorrectly for a month as it included the previous month as well (which I already paid). I brought this to their attention and the billing support assured me that it was not a problem. Come last week, they limited my account as I "had unpaid biling" so I contacted them again and brought attention to this wrong invoice that they never corrected. Come yesterday, they just charged my credit card on file without my authorization or explanination of what is going on. I've replied to the open ticket and created a new ticket and no one is answering.

I don't want to be a drama case but this is ridiculous to have been charged something from months ago and not be given an explanation. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
