"My Review Microsoft Team Foundation Server : (TFS)"
What do you like best about Azure DevOps Server?

Team Foundation Server is the Source Control for Microsoft which is the center of development for a team. The code is checked in by each developer on the TFS Server and other developers working on the same projects can take the latest from the server and start working on it. Branching is one of the other main features of TFS. Code comparing with the latest version on the server by doing the comparison with the latest option. The code is checked in by the name of the programmer that has made the changes. Other developers receive emails ones one developer checks in the code with all the files that have been checked in. The code can be reverted back to previous versions if any changes have wrongly been checked in or overwritten.

Show History Option is a great feature in TFS as it helps to see all the changes that have been made to a file previously and in what change set, Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Server?

If we make changes to a file offline and when open the project online the pending changes are shown to all the files in the project folder. If any new file as added and taking the latest version doesn't show up the added file unless we do show all and include the file in the project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Perfect for synchronizing with a web environment"
What do you like best about Azure DevOps Server?

This source code control is perfect for use with a Microsoft environment, as it integrates perfectly, for example, with Visual Studio. It has a fairly simple interface to use once it has been configured, and it is very useful for saving versions and working as a team on the same project. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Server?

When integrating for the first time, it creates confusion for teamwork, as it defaults to the local protection option, and if it is not modified before starting a project, it can generate conflicts and loss of code when two people protect the same file at the same time. "Version control of Microsoft"
What do you like best about Azure DevOps Server?

Neither Microsoft Foundation Server is the ideal version control to use with Visual Studio, it integrates perfectly, and gives you the necessary options to work in a team, and control all the changes made by each user and access them at any time, both from the history to view them, and from the root to recover a previous version. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Server?

The configuration can be somewhat complicated at first if you have never used it, but the truth is that once you handle it, it is not something to consider. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good program for teamwork with Microsoft products"
What do you like best about Azure DevOps Server?

It is not just a version control system, its functionality allows for much more, it is perfect for teamwork on a large project, as it has multiple configurable options to work with the same file, or to lock that file so that it can only be used by one person. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Server?

What I like least is that by default in Visual Studio, the workspace appears with the Local location, as it creates confusion because two people can work at the same time with the same file, the server option should appear by default. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

"Good Tool for Organized Project Management"
What do you like best about Azure DevOps Server?

Its Version Management History, automatic Conflict resolution. And the Shelve Feature which help to store the changes without affecting any one page and also not keeping the file in Check Out. Also It Provides Two Different Types of Check Out Option Explicit and Implicit, which sometime helpful when we do not want anyone to make change into particular file. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

What do you dislike about Azure DevOps Server?

By Default come up with so many features, it is confusing for the users who required only minimal features. Should have Role/Permission management functionality. Sometime hanging up the Visual Studio when try to get latest files. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.
