In resent days i have heard few news that ZOOM is not secure and hackers use this application for hacking sensitive data. one for my client using this application for our regular updates. so please advice me.
Short Answer: If your client is a bank, are or work with government agencies, education, or healthcare then I would recommend using a different product until Zoom is able to resolve the issues they are facing. If your client is not sharing any protected information then the security issues with Zoom are not major but still concerning to some degree.
Long Answer: Zoom has made some progress however parts of their application still remain insecure as of this writing. With competition in the video conferencing space ramping up there are other solutions which may be better or cheaper options and this media snafu with Zoom could stifle them from progressing given our current economic times. With that said just because Zoom is in the spotlight it does not mean their competitors do not also have security issues, they just simply have not been exposed yet.
