Question on: Paylocity
Can I use paylocity at home?Need paylocity to work remotely.
Yes! Paylocity is simple and easy to use from anywhere with an internet connection. I was able to run about 5 payrolls from home WITH support from our implementation specialist.
Yes, you only need to have your company ID and your personal username and password.
Yes, it's very convenient as such, you can log in at work, at home, at a conference so long as you have your login information handy.
Yes - it works great from home. Thank goodness!
Yes! With their online portal, users can access anywhere that they have online access.
I use Paylocity at home all the time. Because it is a web-based program, there is no need to be connected to a network.
I have processed payroll while away on vacation multiple times using my iPad. I even did it once from a cruise ship when I paid for internet access. Make sure you have signed in on that particular device before. If you haven't then you need to get codes sent to you which might be harder if you're out of cell phone reach.
Yes, but be sure not to use an open network such as Airport or cafe Wi-Fi. I use my cell phone secure Wi-Fi.
Yes, I've rarely had problems working from home, when it's needed. As always, you have to be careful with any network.
Paylocity is usually very good about being up and running consistently and they notify you when maintenance is being done ahead of time.
Yes. It is in the cloud.
Absolutely, but as most have answered already, please be sure to have a secure connection. The help desk is available to you at home as well in case you get stuck.
Yes, but make sure you have a good internet connection. I travel, and access Paylocity from all over the U.S. The only time I have problems is when there is a slow internet connection. I also recommend making sure you have a SECURE internet connection.

Paylocity can be used from anywhere you have a internet connection. If you are an administrator on your account I would also ask that Paylocity extend Multi Factor Authentication to you to make sure all of your logins are protected. Your PCTY representative can assist.
Absolutely. With the online portal we are able to update and process payroll from anywhere.
Absolutely. It is web based you can use it anywhere. It is very compatible and easy to use.
Not only can you use it at home, but anywhere you have wifi. I did payroll from a mountain top in Montana. Just another reason to love Paylocity!
Yes, anywhere there is access to wifi you will be able to manage the day to day of your business with Paylocity however I highly recommend making sure all connections are secure only because of the data you are storing with this platform. Could you log in at an internet cafe in Paris on a business trip to correct a payroll issue....yes you can, but I would I recommend it...no. Paylocity is not only user friendly even with remote access but their customer service is great if you get hung up in any way just give them a call and your personalized team will walk you through it
Of course. You can use either as your personal portal login and/or your adminsitration log in. Because I am and adminitrator I often use Paylocity form work, home , or hotel whenever I need access as well as using the app from my phone.

Question on: ADP Workforce Now
How does Workforce Now compare to other payroll services?I am interested in how Workforce Now compares to other payroll services so I can supply my management team with the information.
I agree with Karen. I don't know what you have now but we have been happy with the HR Module, Benefits Administration, Tax filing, Report Writing, Tech support, Applicant tracking, Time and attendance. ADP is a world wide operation and has pretty much anything you need unless you are working with Federal Contract and need more detail time keeping, they have an upgraded product that would do that.
ADP offers a comprehensive payroll service. They are up-to-date with the latest legislature and offer many learning tools & reports to keep you compliant.
ADP provides a multitude of services: PR, HR & Benefits Mgmt., Tax Svcs.; Time & Labor; PTO Tracking & EE self-service just to name a few!
They are in constant communications with the IRS to ensure compliance for all clients. The 'Bridge' is their portal providing a huge database of tools/guides, as well as a Q&A forum where ADP consultants & clients takes place. I've worked with ADP's different software since 2002 & as they constantly upgrade with the times they are able to keep it user-friendly. It's everything you need from A to Z and worth the investment.
As a HRIS Implementation Consultant I work with ADP WFN and several other industry leaders. All of the systems have similarities and differences when it comes to modules offered, ease of use, customer service, implementation, etc. To fully answer a question like this I would need to know what other system I was comparing ADP to (Ultipro, Paylocity, Workday, etc.) .
To be honest we were with ADP for several years and 2 years ago we switched to a different provider. We only used the Payroll, Time & Attendance and Tax Filing services with ADP. Reason for the switch was their service, we were constantly moved to different service reps. Also when everything switched due to Obama Care there were long wait on the phone just to talk to someone (one time it was almost 3 hours). We made the decision to switch and when I notified them it was almost as if they did not care. I hope their service has changed back to the wa it was when we bgan with.

Question on: Paycor
Can we go back to a Dedicated Customer Service Rep?A Dedicated Customer Service Rep that would learn about our business and build a long term relationship based on trust, quality customer service, sense of urgency.
This would be a huge benefit from my perspective. Every time we call with question, it would be helpful to get someone who knows us.
Each Client has a Service Team of 2-4 people depending on the products purchased. In addition, you also have a Client Support Manager and a Client Success Manager. If for some reason the team doesn't help, you can go to either of these people (or both). I have not had any issues with our team!!
You should be able to have a dedicated service rep. We currently use Paycor, and I have a name and number of our service rep; however, if I am in a time-sensitive situation when I call in for help, and my rep is busy, I can elect to speak with the next available rep. They are knowledgeable, and if I reach a "trainee", they consult with an experienced rep to get me the best solution to my issue.
