I think that, as with many things, it can be very frustrating for teachers to see some of the tiered components cost extra. While it's completely understandable that the company needs to make money to continue to improve, as educators, it's generally outside the teacher's control for what funds are spent and where based on school/district budgets, which then can either lead them to personally paying fees for subscriptions, or in some cases, being restricted from using them where they are not allowed to pay for items personally (as in my previous district). One challenge we’ve faced is the limited integration with some specialized third-party systems commonly used in higher education, such as advanced learning management systems (LMS) or research administration tools. Expanding compatibility or offering more seamless API connections would greatly enhance its utility.

My classroom is quite diverse in terms of English proficiency. I have students who are actively discouraged, others who are passive, and a few who are high achievers. My goal is to capture their attention and make every student feel genuinely engaged—rather than just being a guest in the classroom.

HiTeach helps me achieve this by offering a cloud-based performance tracking system. I can easily add or deduct points based on classroom participation and behavior, and the data is accessible across different classrooms—making classroom management more consistent and visible.

To improve their speaking skills and ensure everyone actually speaks the target material, I also use the voice recognition feature. This helps prevent free-riding, while encouraging advanced students to aim for higher-quality output.

I don't like that you have to pay to see read receipts. Sometimes it's helpful to know when a teacher or parent has read something to make sure they didn't miss a message. I also don't like how sometimes it doesn't notify me of a new message. Review collected by and hosted on G2.com.

I do not have any dislikes, because they are continually updating and improving their platform to support the needs of schools and students. If I were to have a wish, it would be that if the data would integrate into our SIS or other dashboards that would allow us to provide even more information from the whole child. Helping support our tier 1 need for a pass system for our students to use during class periods. We have been able to move away from agendas and paper passes, to a digital pass system that gives our tier 1 team and administrators real time data of student movement through the building. It would improve in customization options and advanced tools for evaluation and tracking, as well as not allowing much modification of the interface or adding advanced functionalities. Basically, it does not allow modifying the interface or adding advanced features. Limited reports and analytics: It does not offer detailed tools to assess student performance. Dependence on the Google ecosystem: It works better if you use Drive, Docs, and Meet, which can be a limitation for some users. Assessment management could be improved: It does not have advanced options like adaptive quizzes or plagiarism detection tools. Lack of integrations with other LMS: It does not easily connect with more comprehensive platforms like Moodle or Blackboard. If someone needs a more advanced platform, these issues help identify whether Google Classroom is suitable or if it's better to look for alternatives. Customer Support is based out of the South America so getting someone that truly understands the problem or speaks clear English is at times a hinderance to getting quick resolutions.

Also, for large deployments like mine, some basic features were left off years ago as they enchanced the product and never brought back. Like setting a pagination display for number of viewable records. I must change this 25 times a day. They have recently been adding premium options, when signing on with them, it was not communicated to me that there would be added costs for new features. While I understand that it may be fair in some cases to charge extra, this was not part of the original agreement. For the price I am paying, and being an existing customer that is still awaiting features to be configured to work in our setting, I don't agree that we should pay extra for these "premium" features. Some of these are also not entirely new modules but add on features. We have yet to get our Reports to work in the Illumine App configurations as it is not fully customizable. Communication has been streamlined and improved. We are able to very easily send out information, photos, videos, documents etc. We are able to communicate on one platform whereas before we had to use multiple channels to communicate. We are able to house all our student information within the student profiles. Record keeping and admin functions have also been positively impacted with the use of Illumine. Be careful of the wording used by D2L during the RFP process. They do not call things the same thing as you might be call them. Also, they are not forthcoming about prices for add-on products or fees. While they think this is a good tactic because it makes the RFP price lower, it shows that they do not really understand higher education funding cycles. We can't go to bat for more money in the middle of a fiscal year. We've told them this; others have told them this and they simply refuse to change their process. So, be sure to ask all the questions and about all hidden products and fees during your RFP process. I dislike that when the user doesn't pass the test, it doesn't take them back to complete the test again automatically and marks is as completed.

I also do not like when a new user receives the amil to get started they put in their first and last name and password Chrome asks to save the password and the username as the employees last name instead of the employees email address for the username. The ability to have short training videos for complaince in healthcare setting which is the main reason. The other benefits of adding learning for leadership, customer service skills, etc is the second main problem resolved. Having all of onboarding training in one system is the third. Because they are constantly making updates, it does sometimes feel like an incomplete system. Like some things do feel like they launched this platform without entirely making it completely ready to use. E.g. I am waiting and waiting for some sort of manager dashboard where they are able to quickly see/be notified of people on their team who are overdue with trainings. While the platform is comprehensive, the reporting functionality could be more advanced. We sometimes find it challenging to extract specific data or metrics on learner performance without manual workarounds. DrivEd LMS has streamlined our sales training process, ensuring our managers receive consistent, high-quality training across the board. The platform's flexibility allows our team to balance learning with their busy schedules, and the collaborative features help foster communication and idea sharing between sales teams. The are really only 2 things I would improve upon with 360Learning. First, I would love the ability to enroll learners in individual courses rather than having to create a path with the course in it to enroll them. Second, I would like to have access to upload existing external certifications for additional tracking and HR functions. Otherwise, I can't think of any downsides of using the product. 360Learning has enabled my organization to significantly expand our Educational offerings. We are able to host external content easily with the SCORM file upload feature. The drag and drop course uploads created from documents is a huge time saver, and so valuable to repurpose existing content into courses without needing to re-create the wheel. 360Learning have been great partners working with us through our needs and supported us in suggesting some content providers for us to check out when we were seeking external content. While Classter can do a LOT! It can be tricky and time consuming to get it designed and functioning the way we need it to. We've needed the Classter support team to 'fix' more than one item that should work upon turning on that doesn't.
