I want to know if it's still possible to get some use out of this system because I have a couple of refurbished old computers and I would like to know if it would be worth installing this system or if it's better to use a different system.

Home usage and working as well. Most of the usage has been with web applications, but I've been developing in C++ (MS Visual Studio), configuring networks on GNS3, Hex Workshop Hex Editor (64 bit), Photoshop CS6, GoPro Studio etc.

Since Microsoft has stopped supporting windows 7 what does it mean if you still want to continue ...
I have an old computer which is not compatible with newer versions of Microsoft. Windows 7 functions better with it what must I do to continue using it?
